"They should awaken easily, but may still be under the influence of their new 'Master.' It might be prudent to restrain them first, just in case."

Like most of her companions, the Ixian witch abandons her efforts to stake down the net. She instead picks up her lantern and begins to shine it about the area in search of stray loot, but she also warns the others not to touch the giant brownish mushrooms.

If she finds nothing of interest on the ground nearby, she heads next toward the large round structure to the west.

Skavi meanwhile follows about 20' behind the pig-fiend, as far as this end of the bridge, and stays there on watch in case it returns.

Sik makes one last swipe at the beast, but will not pursue it further than the bridge.

To hit: [1d20+1]=19+1=20 damage with dagger [1d4+1]=1+1=2

Under The Zakath Desert
Easy Come Easy Go
No Idea On Time Or Day

The pigman is battered and cut a couple more times as he flees, but not badly enough to stop the floundering creature from escaping towards the roaring river. Drest and Xenos still try to stop the beast, to no avail. By the looks of its stuttered movements, it is using mostly hearing to find the waterway, since it was blinded earlier.

As the party regroups, Magda looks around the mushroom patch for scattered loot, finding only more piles of pigman poop. She then moves towards the broken structure in the distance, while her rat watches the dark shadow of the pigman find and cross the massive stone bridge.

Shining her lantern on the ruins, it appears to have once been a brick tower, possibly.

Sik heeds Magda's warning and goes back to his pack to find his fishing string, and ties it around Kain's wrists. He also takes the time to take any weapons that are readily available to his sleeping comrade.

Akhilleus stands guard next to the bridge. "That thing will come back. Probably not soon. But it will.

I'm starting to think about going back to the city, rest for a couple days, and then investigating further. I want to know what's in here."

Taibhse

I agree with Akhillius, Returning to town for some rest and study might be a good course at this point. We'll need to prepare to get around this one. Maybe more silver weapons can be found and some aids.

Xenos

"I agree we need more preparation before we return here. There are areas in the building on the plateau we could examine on the way back to town."

Magda is secretly glad to have the grumpy but sharp-eyed Scout near her. While talking, she glances back once or twice at her still sleeping victims.

"The surface?... I still have no idea how long it's been since I saw it last."

"I agree - we head back to civilization. This exploration has been taxing and it feels like months since we have slept in comfort."

As Skavi watches the immense figure of the pigman disappear across the dark bridge, the pair of sleeping beauties are bound before they are awakened, just to be on the safe side. When they both arise from their slumber, they no longer feel any magical ties to their now missing tall, pink, stranger.

The consensus of the group seems to be getting the hell out of this dark underground and returning to the surface before they meet anyone else they can't defeat down here.

Magda and Drest kick around some rubble at the base of the stone brick tower ruins next to the rest of the group, but they don't find anything to explain what it was or why it was built here. Or, why it fell in the first place. The area around the ruins is void of anything besides more dirty rubble. Can you two can give me a percentile roll please?

So far, nothing else comes sniffing around from out of the darkness to see who has come to visit.

Akhilleus

"So, we all agree that we should go back to town. Let us know when you're done searching and let's leave this place." The former mercenary stays in his post.

Sik cuts Kain and Ceana free of the bonds placed on them after it becomes clear that they are no longer under the creature's influence.

He is relieved by the suggestion that they return to Xambaala, and lights a torch to lead the way back up the cliff side, eager to escape and see daylight once more.

Taibhse

Taibhse will listen to see if healing is needed. In the meantime he picks up his torch and readies for the journey out of this place.

Kainaxarthos

Kain takes the binding in stride, shrugging it off as commonplace. "My apologies, it's embarrassing to succumb to those charms. I'm glad nobody paid dearly for my lapse."

"Yes. Time to head back. I have some healing but suggest I save it for the journey back."

He helps Ceana to her feet and moves to the base of the path up.

I think Kain's FA is now 2.
