I shouldn't give clues but it just occurred to me that if you hire "techs" (which you'll have to due the amount of electronic gear you now have) then "drone recovery and launch" might be a suitable non combatant ;) job for them...

It's nowhere near the frontline - you'd never actually get shots near you doing it ... ;)

There's no non-combat positions in a merc company...

Spoken by a person with bruised ribs who's just escaping from a mob....

And have you seen our Launch? It's a bit "fight-y" :D

Roll(2d6)+0: 1,4,+0 Total:5 (Cupola – HMG KO)
Did we arm the Ambulance, or is that just the cupola bent out of shape? We can afford the HMG, it's not that, just wondering.

Also, is the fire an ongoing problem?

My understanding is that you put a "self defence" HMG on it.

The fires (plural) are a WIP but there is now at least time to do something about both.

I can't really see a petrol bomb "bending" an MG mount. I can only assume the HMG needs stripping and cleaning (likewise the ammo) to get all the petrol, Fairy Liquid and polystyrene out of the feed.

If you read the contract carefully you'll see there's no specification on the actual range of "close air support"...

And the launch definitely needs a make over - maybe some pastel shades and throw cushions?

There is a mention of "Air".

Now I can see the Captain loving that!

And hey - I'm having fun. All those people that are really interested in me!

P.S. Anyone spotted the sniper yet?

Rounds impact all over Beau but he can not be stopped. A clearance strike bats the SMG away and he runs its owner through. Unwilling to share the same fate the two arsonists flee
This is exactly why I sent Beau to protect Freddie. :-)

On names and ranks and such, we probably need to formalize the unit designations. We had done so a while back, but the forum's volume of posts makes it hard to find and keep track of.

Any ideas? I can collate comments and put something together, once we have a plan.

Yeah, we need a 'useful stuff' thread to contain, or point to where to find, stuff like that.

"Unit Admin" thread created! :)

Sticky? :?:

Having put it up we can amend or adapt as required.

Yes. Recommend that whoever posts something take ownership for that post, and keep things updated. For example: standard loadout, command structure, vehicle thread, etc.

Can you, Tiglath, edit out posts here?

Would it work to make the TO&E a list in the forum? It'd be easier to view and access.

Happy to facilitate this however I can.

There's daunting amount of data to have in mind let alone the intrigues of the plot! :SAN:

Maybe the plot stuff an wait, I don't think we're too bad on that, but we could split divide some of the work up. I'll do the command structure.

I can delete them (as I believe we all can?)

I also believe I can edit posts (but won't without the author's permission / extreme circumstances).
