Einstein slams the stone door shut, hoping to seal off the gas. He calls to Zeek to turn the knob on the throne, quick!

If Zeek is able to , he will obey Einstein!

Zeek finds two additional keys, but one is still missing.

Anne invokes the Chaos gods and sends Sir Honksalot on his way, hoping he can divine the location of the missing key. The goose scurries out of the chamber and stands in front of the round, stone door to the east. He waves his head back and forth, hissing at sealed portal.

Einstein moves to shut the monolithic door as the gas cloud builds in the sculpture chamber. He is unable to move the block, so he calls out to Zeek. The corn farmer bounds over and helps the gambler force the door shut. Zeek returns to the throne and twists the north metallic orb, actuating the locking mechanism. Einstein hears a ’CLICK’ inside the stone block, just as tenuous strands of vapor harmlessly dissipate around the outside of the door’s perimeter. The gambler then takes time to examine the ornamental bronze weapon.

Around the spear's shaft, 4 inches above the bottom, is a ring of crumbled wax that was disturbed when the weapon was removed from the frog sculpture. The base region of the shaft is moist from having contact with water.

Arya returns to the main chamber, systematically searching the mummies on the floor, looking for the last key.

Anne indicate to Arya where sir Honksalot think the key is

Hoping to help the others, Einstein searches around the throne for the missing key... in the javelin bins, underneath it, on the seat below where the main mummy sat, etc.

Drawn out by the commotion caused by Einstein's experiment, Tony and Betty exit the sarcophagus room. They acknowledge Anne's information regarding the possible location of the final key and proceed to the gooses location.

Arya vigorously and systematically searches through the four mummies on the lower floor, trying to find the missing key. She does not find the key.

Einstein completely searches the throne for the eighth bronze key. The key is nowhere to be found.

Anne tries to convince the others that Sir Honksalot has insight to the key’s location.

Tony and Betty acknowledge Anne’s opinion. They both proceed east to the opposite 4ft round, solid stone door with engraved spider icon. This door has the same lead packing and holes in the door’s face as the other two which contained an acid trap.

Sir Honksalot occasionally pecks at the stone door.

Anne will try the same stunt the other party members did to avoid the acid trap, but to open the door

After Arya searches the mummies, she'll join in on opening the last door- picking lead out to seal the holes, prying open the door, etc...

While the others work on the door, Einstein will stay behind.

He'll investigate the area under the north "stair" that collapsed, releasing spiders, to see if there's a space there where a person could fit. Also, he is keeping an eye on the vault full of poison gas, watching to see if a lot of the gas is escaping...

Tony and Betty will assist the others in 'preparing' the door for opening.

Einstein searches through the rubble of the fake northern staircase to see if there is a chamber or pocket under the remains. He finds solid, polygonal blocks identical the exposed floor in this room. There is a pocket in the face of the dias where the adobe facade connected to the raised platform. It is approximately 1ft in diameter and 3ft deep. The dead-end tunnel is clean and empty.

The vapor or gas, that leaked out, has dissipated and nothing additional has flowed from the other side of the closed door.

Anne, Arya, Tony and Betty collectively follow the techniques used to successfully open the sealed door. They breach the seal and remove the circular block without triggering the acid trap. Beyond the portal is a large room containing pillars, mummies on the floor and a raised dias with a granite statue. A large, round metal grate lies in the floor before the dias and mummies.

Anne calls for Zeek and Einstein, to join the team.

Zeek looks to the room, and feeling the possible danger, say more to himself in low tones "maybe the gongfarmer job wasnt so bad after all"

"By the hand of chaos, lets enter here and find the key, guys" say the rice farmer Anne.
She steps inside, a little bit to the left

Einstein will come over and join the group, nudging them into the room while staying near the back.

Arya enters cautiously, circling wide around the grating. She heads for the statue, moving at a slow, deliberate pace.

Tony and Betty enter the room, hugging the back wall to the right of the entry.

Anne enters the room, hooking left. Einstein bumps Zeek forward, pushing the corn farmer just inside the room. The gambler remains at the rear, in the doorway, observing the room while the others explore. Arya cautiously circles wide around the metal floor grate. She slowly approaches the dias-supported statue. Tony and Betty enter to the right, hugging the near wall.

The entire room is faced with polygonal masonry. Four square 3ft x 3ft pillars support the 6ft-high ceiling. In the center of the floor is an 8ft diameter, cast, bronze grate set into a shallow stone ring. Your light does not illuminate the opposite side of the grate, indicating a void underneath.

Five kobold-sized mummies lie in front of the two-level dias upon which a geometric, stylized, granite statue of a spider rests. Its design is similar to the wooden totem found in the mummy chamber south of here. The statue’s six eyes are made from green gems.



Four bronze urns, shaped as frogs, sit in each corner and face towards the center of the room. They are 5ft long and 4ft high with a hollow back.



The floor around the grate and steps of the dias are decorated with green glyphs and symbols. The walls are painted with scenes showing humans, elves and dwarves being sacrificed to the spider devil. After the victims are prepared, they are tossed into a pit filled with spiders and sealed with a cap stone.

Arya cautiously approaches the statue. She examines it closely from all sides before she touches it IF she sees nothing suspicious, she'll set to work prying the gems out.
