I don't like the idea of leaving a whole area behind us that may contain deadly creatures. I think we should go down, make sure the area is clear, then go back up later.

Ko-Nan hesitates moving closer to the magical metal hammer head. If the other's go down, he will as well. There may not be cowardly wizard machines down there.

I suppose we can check out the rest of this floor later. Maybe the metal monsters will get bored and "exterminate" each other.
If we do walk down the stairs, I hope that metal shape stays in place and does not close up the hole. "Down" may be more dangerous than "up." Although, dangerous has become a relative term.
She will try taking a step down into the stairwell, 'cause that's what Rangers do.
