Elanriel

Elanriel continues watching at the back. The Orcs have to be slain and she is not particularly squeamish but she is happier not being the one putting them to the sword in their sleep.

Room 8: Dead Drunk Orcs

The group having defeated the orcs that were able to resist the sleep spell, Egon makes fast work of killing the sleeping orcs by slitting their throats one by one. The room now has the added odor of orc blood as each orc dead bleeds out. Searching the dead foes reveals they all have short swords, belt pouches and as loose change on the table. One orc has a gold ring in his pocket. Another orc also has a silver drinking goblet. Other than that they all are wearing leather armor that is very gross smelling and appear to be lice ridden as well. Other than that the beer kegs have nasty smelling orc beer in them and the copper plates appear about worthless. Other than that this room only has the chairs and the large table.

"We should search for secret doors & spaces. Then do we check the doors or the hallway? Can anyone tell if this ring is magical? Not my area of expertise."

Talrand shakes his head at Egon "I'm afraid I'm also of little use in that field as well."

Weston peers at the ring "I have a spell to determine if it's enchanted, but I wonder if it's worth saving it. Even if it is magical we have no idea what it might do"

Xlore- Searches the room where the Orcs were drinking for any secret doors or trap doors in the floor.

Elanriel

Elanriel has little interest in the ring and is impatient to press on and find the kidnapped priest before the Orcs do something awful. But, she continues keeping watch and does not voice her thoughts to the others.

Talrand Bren

"Without a proper way to identify it perhaps we should move on, if these orcs have a spell caster among them it could've set up some enchantments for intruders that detection spell could come in handy." Talrand searches the orc he had hit quickly to see if his dart is still retrievable before gathering with everyone to move on.

I was debating on whether to take Appraise as a NWP skill too

Those with the thief abilities can tell the ring and and goblet could fetch a good price if sold or pawned.

Egon

"OK, we move on to the doors." Egon will listen at both and see if he hears anything before deciding which one.

Egon

Whispering. "I didn't hear anything."

Egon will start at the north door and work clockwise, checking for traps. Once that is done, if he doesn't find any traps he will open the first unlocked door. If an order is needed start with the north door and work clockwise.

Find Traps 25%

Xlore- I will appraise all our items we find once we leave this. Lets move on. Xlore will move opposite of Egon Listening at the doors for any noise before checking for traps at the doors.

Elanriel

Elanriel will continue to keep watch at the rear of the group.

Both Egon & Xlore find no traps on any of the 3 doors. Egon didn't hear anything at any of the 3 doors. Xlore does hear something at the door in middle of the hallway to the east sounds like someone is waling down another hallway potentially patrolling it. Door #2 on the map below.

Weston keeps his voice low. "Perhaps we should carefully open the quiet doors first to be sure they are clear, then if they are check the one with the noise?"

Talrand

"I don't like the looks of this hallway it makes me uneasy, no matter which door we open we could get easily flanked." the young man whispers as he begins to nervously rub the back of his neck. "Weston's plan sounds good though, no other way around it."

Egon

Whispering. "Agreed, Weston's plan sounds good." Egon will ready himself and then slowly open the first quite door.
