Our heroes once again seize the initiative. Bragar's mace smashes Zombie Robert's disembodied hand. The hand stops moving and the zombie falls to the ground. Fendt's mortal remains, greenish and stinking, climb forward only to be immediately destroyed by by Gragog, Castran, and Petyr. Tumbler is next; he too falls, to Lar's blade and Shinya's spear.
A pile of rotting bodies stands at your feet. The zombies of Iluq and Vorkath shuffle their way forward. The battle so far would be a laugher if not for the knowledge of who your foes used to be. But Iluq and Vorkath both wear their old armor—and Vorkath wields Excommunicator!

Re: 9. Five Months Later
Scarlett will be checking through the window in the front bedroom or looking through any boarded slats. How many zombie characters can she see outside? Any wargs patrolling the streets?
Re: 9. Five Months Later
Date: Trieluna 13, 1222
Time: 2:17 AM - Combat Round 4
Weather: Fog
Location: Bragar and Castran's Hideout, Barovia
**************************************
Zombie Iluq climbs over the bodies of its former companions. The former dark elf's black face is tinted green; its white hair has darkened to grey. It reaches forward with decaying arms, but stumbles on the pile of expired adventurers. "JOIN US," it croaks, continuing the shrinking chorus.
Castran, Bragar, and Gragog land solid hits on the monster wearing Iluq's face, each hit dislodging a body part. The zombie is heavily injured. Lar's sword deflects off the armor the zombie still wears. Petyr attacks from the second rank, but he loses his grip on his spear—it flies down the hall and lands near the door. Shinyah's spear thrust also misses.
Upstairs, Scarlett tries to look out a window to see if any other zombies are outsides, or wargs patrolling the streets. The boards covering the windows are close together, however, and offer no view of the street. Scarlett could probably pry some boards off if she wanted to.

With a quick and true stroke of his sword, Lar separates zombie Iluq's head from its body. The undead form of the dark elf collapses on top of the other re-dead adventurers.
Only the zombie once known as Vorkath remains. Still resplendent in shining gold armor and wielding the sword Excommunicator, the once-holy warrior strides forward, kicking the bodies of its former comrades out of its way. Castran, Bragar, Gragog, Petyr, and Shinyah all attack, but their blows are repelled by the zombie's armor and shield.
Zombie Vorkath raises Excommunicator to strike at the paladin but loses its grip, sending the sword flying behind it. The zombie backs away into the hallway and turns to leave. "YOU WILL JOIN US," are its parting words.

Re: 9. Five Months Later
That's a miss. Will Lar follow the zombie into the night?
Re: 9. Five Months Later
Lar says, "Follow me and cover me or assist me with this last Zombie. If we can finish it within a min or two so be it. If not we retreat back to the safety of the building."
Lar will take one or two more attacks/swings if his friends join him. If they pull him back he begrudgingly let it go.
