Dungeon Master:
After Cayley examines the keys & is told the one key ring with similar keys had the key that opened Idhrenwen's cell door.
Cayley forgoes those keys & the 1st one that was tried, Shaman Kul's Key.
What is left to thus try then is:
On Bashka the Beastmaster:
3 keys
5 Identical keys on a ring (One opened Idhrenwen's Cell) - Cayley forgoes this bunch
On Sorcerer Hissiz:
3 Keys
On Shaman Kul:
1 Key - This is the Key Arn first tried
This leaves Cayley with 6 more keys to try... she tries the first one from Bashka ... the key turns but nothing happens
Same deal with the next two keys from Bashka.
Then Cayley tries the ones from Sorcerer Hissiz.
The first key does not work, then when the 2nd key is tried, she feels it catching & hears a click ... this made her wench & grip her shield tight, but no darts came flying from the ceiling.
The thick wooden door is now unlocked !

Procyon steps up and throws one of his spare wooden sticks into the (hallway?). If no sticks are available, he will use one of his spears.
Roll for throw?

Jenks remains in the doorway, ready to bravely step in when the treasure needs locating.

Arn the mighty paladin shuffles sheepishly into the hallway, not wholly convinced that darts won't spill onto him at any moment. He clears his throat and forms up as they had before, ready to take on whatever is behind the door.

Ok, Whom will be the brave soul to open the door & look in & enter?
Procyon, when you throw that javelin, is it done in the current hallway or after the now unlocked door is open ?

Arn will do it! He won't step inside though, just toss the door open with his shield up and sword ready. If no one's in there, he slowly enters, watching the floor for traps.

I was thinking that throwing the spear after the door is opened would be more beneficial, as it could potentially activate any traps or hidden enemies.

Dungeon Master:
Here is an updated map now showing the new room Arn is currently looking into....lit up 15 ft in from a torch.
It is quiet in the room:
The room ahead is cleanly swept.
The door you entered through is in the dead center of the north wall.
Two sealed chests and one broken chest rest against the east wall.
Dead ahead is a loose pile of coins (I guess where you see the yellow in the pile in the center of the room like), arranged almost like a sleeping palette.
A corner shelf unit cluttered with jars and bottles sits in the nearest corner.
On the west wall is a large wool tapestry bearing dwarven heraldry.

Jenks moves as close to the doorway as he can get, ready to use his particular set of skills.

Cayley will wait in the hallway, letting the others investigate. "Suspicious that the room is free of dust. I can't imagine the kobolds sweeping the room...I wonder what does... "

Ok, to update the map & posts what is seen:
I will have Arn 10 ft into the room with Procyon 5 ft behind him & Jenks at the door to it's west side just enough to see inside, everyone else is to either side of the doorway.

As Arn steps into the room Smoke the Cooshee is growling & barking at him !
Idhrenwen, softly says that Smoke senses something in the room !
Again this is what is seen:

Arn still enters with Procyon about 5 feet behind him as Jenks looks on from the side of the doorway, with Teladrin directly north of the doorway.
Arn spots a dark figure rise from behind the broken chest, wings flapping as it hovers about 5 ft off the ground !
This dark figure opens it's toothy maw, flickers it's tongue then suddenly a substance sprays forth 30 ft & 5 ft wide, from it's mouth !
I now need for Arn & Procyon & Teladrin to make a Save vs Breath Weapon here for half damage or take
[2d4] = 4 Hit Points of damage !
