I, for one, appreciate it... But i wouldn't have held it against you. (ba-dam, ching!)

Abrex says, "Did we try going north? It seems like we still have options. I'm with Dredd, on using magic to our advantage. I just need more information to go on. Let's see what's the other way my friends."

Dredd Doomsmith, dwarven trap-hacker:

"Aye, lad. We went north first," Dredd rumbled ruefully.
Dredd dutifully trudged back to the mouth of the caves of the silver mist. "Should we enter the mists together?"

Dredd Doomsmith, dwarven trap-hacker:

Then Dredd added as an afterthought, over his shoulder: "Dwarven clerics have the blessed gift of Augury. If any of ye do as well, ye can see what will become of any who wear the feather ring, and any who enter the mists."

Eduardo hesitates just before putting on the ring, slightly disrupted as he had mentally prepared to be either a hero or a martyr. "Oh... Clerics can do that?

If no one has Augury available, he'll slip the ring on anyway.

Xale regretfully shakes his head as he answers his fellow Dwarf and Eduardo's question; "Alas; I did not pray for such a dweamor today. Perhaps if we are still here on the morrow, I could do so; but I can't provide any more insight on this course today, my apologies."

"I suggest that we have one person scout out the mist cavern then. I volunteer to do so. If there are no other exits in the cavern then we only risk one person should anything go afoul. I doubt we have enough rope unless I do it in stages. Let me go in tied and search the right side to the length of the rope then to the left using the length of the rope using the same signals should I need help. Combined with Zoster's information when he went in it may be a complete picture.", says Abrex.

Abrex goes in if there are no objections.

How much rope do you have? That will determine how far Abrex can go into the cave without letting go of the rope.

Elsa, fighter

"I have two lengths of rope, about 100'," says Elsa. "Be careful."

Abrex says, "Let's get each of your ropes tied together and coil it here just 5-10 ft from the cavern entrance. Perhaps you stronger types can give me slack as I move into the cavern. We'll use the same signals tugs on the rope as Zoster used."

Abrex will move in either to the max of the rope of until the cavern limit is reached. He will search left side then right side then down the middle. Noting things mentally has he does. He then comes out and explains the cavern to the others as best he can.

Malibran states, "I do have an augury prayer prepared if that would be of benefit to the group in our chose course of action."

Holding on to a rope as a lifeline, the nearly-naked Abrex carefully explores the cavern. After about half an hour of careful exploration, he has mapped out the entire cavern, finding no exits.

"I have searched the cave and found no exit. Therefor I suggest we attempt to use a passwall spell. I'm just not sure which way to go. I'm going to think back through our travels in this dungeon and if there were options we did not take that might provide areas we missed perhaps it may yield an answer to a safe course of action. Perhaps the augury spell may yield an answer to this as well" says Abrex.

Dredd Doomsmith, dwarven trap-hacker:

"Aye, lad." Dredd wagged his thick red head at Abrex's wisdom.
"While ye wizards choose, Passwall or Augury, I'll search the cavern for a secret door," he muttered as he tied the rope all the way around his considerable girth. "Pull the rope when ye've decided on yer magicks."

Dredd entered the misty cavern and hugged its craggy wall, searching for a secret door with his expert beady eyes and pudgy fingers.

If he found nothing, he'd do the same to that interesting formation in the center of the cavern.

Abrex says, "Ok based on my calculations and where we came into the dungeon at we traveled mainly to the right/west and down/South then we traveled east. I suspect there will be rooms to the north potentially. If Dredd find no other exits in the cavern I suggest we look at using the passwall to traverse northerly. Where to start will be the question and if we don't find anything soon another passwall may be needed in conjunction with mine. We could also go all the way back out and try the main hallway again to search there for a route we may have overlooked."

"Perhaps the ring is the key?" suggests Eduardo. He slips it on.
I'm just dying to find out what it does...

"All good ideas" nods Zoster. "I can turn stone to mud, but I don't believe that will be helpful for forging new paths through this hellish labyrinth."

He watches with interest as Eduardo slips on the ring. "I bet it's a flying ring!"

Xale looks over at Eduardo as he slips on the ring and says solemnly; "May Dalt, the lord of portals and solver of puzzles protect you". He silently adds; "...and US" in his mind....
