The space-time continuum is feeling generous this space-time locus, so anyone who's not yet gone on an expedition or otherwise engaged in time-limiting town business can volunteer for this group.

Valorei overhears the conversation of going out in an expedition, he begins to walk sprint towards the group, his hand raised in a friendly greeting, "Hello! I couldn't help but overhear your intentions on going out into the wilderness! If I may be so bold as to ask... Are you possibly looking for another helping hand? I have skills in both combat as well as magical means, plus I am just good company! Haha" He looks at each member of the group, a large smile on his face.

Olympia sizes-up the elf. "Why, you're rather large for an elf!" she says approvingly. "I am Olympia, Radiant of Fortis."

"We could always use another set of hands, couldn't we?" she asks her friends.

Valorei extends his hand out towards Olympia, "It is wonderful to meet you! And might I say, radiant indeed!" He gives Olympia a wink, "I can only hope that the rest of your group shares your sentiments."

Wendall takes a little offense to this newcomer hitting on his Big Momma.

We could surely use another hand out there if you'd like to join us....... as long as you know your place that is.. He gives Valorei a friendly elbow nudge.

Do you like to kill goblins?

Valorei Laughs along with the veiled threat, outwardly acting oblivious to the undertone, "My place is wherever I am wanted most, my friend!" He gives the young human a wicked grin before answering the second portion, "As for killing goblins, I have no qualms against it. Goblins are wicked little creatures that try to act bigger than they are, deserving to be put down. However, I am a researcher at heart, and will admit that their simple little acts of tradition and what they consider lifestyle has intrigued me from time to time." Valorei folds hims arms in front of his chest, "If you were to get right down to it I would almost always choose to end a goblins life should one present itself to me, little devils cannot be trusted. Plus how can I investigate their works when they are breathing down on me? The smell alone would drive any sane person to the gods."

Valorei is about to continue on about the subject before catching himself, realizing he had begun rambling and actively clearing his throat and giving everyone an embarrassed smile, "To answer your question my friend, Yes. I do like killing goblins"

Wendall looks confused for a second and sayswell, that sounds good enough to me. How about the rest of you?

I am Wendall, I'm a fairly powerful spell caster myself if I may say so. That tall fellow there is Varas and the grumpy dwarf over there is Dorvar. I see you have met one of our Clerics already,
he winks at Olympia. There is another named Harold who runs with us but, I'm not sure where he is. Maybe he is standing sideways and we just can't see him. Wendall laughs loudly at his own attempt at humor.

We may have another new recruit besides you as well if Varcand is really joining us. Let's be off then if everyone is ready!

Can someone lay out the proposed departure date and objective of the expedition for me in red text?

Thanks!

Varas tries to suppress laughing at The Wendall's jibe at Harold, but is only mildly successful.

"Welcome, Varcand and Valorei. You'll have to excuse my friend Wendall here. We've been through some tough times facing off against goblins, but with his social graces sometimes you'd think he was raised by them. Despite his cratered skull he's clever when he needs to be. You'll not find a more stout-hearted dwarf than Dorvar here…and Harold is one of the best healers in the North.

Now, I've had a few ales. I'll trust Ghrym will credit me the 30 I don't drink for my return. Let's depart tomorrow morning (the 21st) for the second tower after Dorvar gets his gobby sticks, stopping by The Wendall's on the way. Although, I've had a few ales"
he burps "so I may not understand the plan completely."

I think the plan is to make for the second tower, hitting the first on the way. We leave on the 21st in order to get back for the Harrowing…correct everyone?

Yes, that's correct. If Varas can get enough sleep to sober up, we could head out at sunrise.

OK, I've got for this trip:

Varas
Olympia
Harold
Wendall
Dorvar
Varcand
Valorei

Please chime in if you are not on this list but think you should be, or vice versa! The list is bigger than I was expecting!

p.s. wtf is up with you guys and your V names? I'll have to introduce a handful of NPCs with Vs (apart from Vaul) just to muddy things more ;)

Valorei nods his head to everyone as they are introduced, "I am glad to meet all of you! Allow me to formally introduce myself as well! You may call me Valorei, or Val for short! As I said earlier, I am a researcher, my main studies of focus tend to be creatures and history. However, do not let my studious focuses deceive you! I am not one to hold a group back with hesitation or cowardice!" He gives everyone gathered a very warm smile, after a second of thought, "I believe we will all become fast friends!"

Hey, Dorvar already has a v in his name. It just happens to be in a more respectable location than the first letter. :D

On the way to Wendall's tower, we need to make a brief stop so I can put those goblin heads on sticks. And I would like to be back in time for this festival they have coming up. Other than that, I am open to whatever course of action ye choose, says Dorvar.
