Yeah but I think the actions were foolhardy at best. Finding a smarter way to do things was what I was attempting. After all you cannot defeat a vampyr as easily as some of you were thinking. I think that is what Tumbler and Robert were trying to point out. Just not all caught onto that.

Everyone, wanted to apologize for my inactivity on Friday as well as this weekend, While on my way to work on a fine Valentines day the world decided to give me an ice patch as a good morning, needless to say I failed my DEX check and blacked out in the parking lot for a few minutes, woke up to a pool of blood and I was quite literally knocked silly, made it to the hospital and got stitched up. 3 inch gash on the back of my head. I hope you all had wonderful Valentines days!!

Ouch! I'm glad you're okay.
Ice, hm? I'll have to add that in to the environmental conditions.

I as my part in taking over Robert intend to be almost like an annoying Elf Mage even though I am a druid I will not lack manners and likely will class views with lack of information. So don't hold it against me just my difference in how I'll be playing a druid.
Robert "Indeed wise words Iluq I'll not open the doors but I'll be awaiting here by them for the rest to come over before I attempt to open them. I don't wish to clash with Vorkath yet again being as that we are of different perspective, thoughts and reasoning." Robert then walks over as he said and awaits the party by the only doors left unopened in the second floor.
I just want to say that we are playing the characters as we believe them to be. We are not playing as MonkeyWrench, GreyWolf, Eulalios, etc in a campaign to fight vampires and other creatures of the night. We may not be playing as ourselves but that does not mean that our characters should have no emotions, no thoughts of their own. We are bringing all of that to life when we play, so it should be natural for some characters to not get along, that is what gives these characters more life! It helps shape their personalities into something we will remember, no one will remember the character that agreed with everything and was always with the group, more of a robot than anything. Every personality has it's own flaws and strengths and if we are truly roleplaying these characters then the players should not be holding grudges or taking their frustrations out through the characters so I will disagree on GreyWolfs post, you should not be apologizing for playing your character how you believe him to be.
I'm sorry if that was a rant... I just don't want people to fight over things that shouldn't be fought over. And with that I shall shut up and look for Vampires!

Oh I just was trying to eliminate any possible confusion I don't think anyone has gotten mad at me or anything I was just indicating I don't really know how Robert was played before but he is likely to be more of a pain in the arse lol and potentially more entertaining.

how bad would it be if this is a weapon but not one we can use against Strahd but one he can use against us.

Bad. It seems to fit the bill though.

What a great idea!
*frantically scribbles notes*
BTW, it looks like Eulalios may not be coming back. I'll probably offer up Tibbius to a new player if Eulaios doesn't return in the next week or so.

I dislike situations where one player tries to stop another player from doing his posted action. I've edited Grognardsw's most recent post for now to put "He yanks the rope back as soon as Tumbler hands it to him" on hold. Vorkath can take an action other than accepting the rope, of course. I'd just like to avoid "Oh no you don't!" actions between PCs.
And just to clarify: at the start of this move, everyone is on the top of the south tower. Tumbler and Robert cross the bridge as their actions (Tumbler with the added safety of the rope). There's a landing on the other side of the bridge before you have to enter the tower proper. Even if the tower starts shaking when characters are on the landing, the landing is wide enough that characters would not need to roll dexterity checks to avoid falling. In other words, although the bridge itself is a little treacherous, the landing on the other side is safe (well, as safe as anywhere in Ravenloft).

Well, aside from that man in an opera cloak waiting there, it looks perfectly safe.

Sorry to throw a wrench into your plans, but I just looked up the details on
fly and I don't think it'll work that way.
Neither the PHB nor DMG say anything about load capacity under the fly spell. I'm going to say that the most sensible interpretation is that the spell affects the target and his normal equipment; anything beyond that is subject to encumbrance the same way as normal movement. The alternatives would be that you can carry as much weight as you can strap on, or that you can't carry anything other than personal equipment, but those seem too extreme. Vorkath is 200 pounds with about 60 pounds of equipment. Iluq, with strength of 9, can't possibly carry Vorkath.

Can Vorkath Drink and carry Iluq?

Vorkath has a strength of 15, which lets him carry an extra 20 lbs, so his max carrying capacity is 170 lbs. Iluq weighs 145. Vorkath could carry Iluq and 25 lbs of Iluq's 67 lbs. of equipment at a rate of 3"/round.
So, technically, yes, but it's probably not the easiest way to get both characters to the door at the top of the tower.

Might I interject? What if once Robert and someone else get up there they hold a rope down for some one else to use to climb up? I know the tower moves and so forth but it is an idea.

(This was getting to be a bit of a discussion, so I thought it would make more sense to move it over here.)
I think if two strong people were on a stable platform, they would probably be able to hold a rope well enough for someone to climb it. If the tower is trying to buck and throw them, however, it would be more difficult. If either person holding the rope falls, it might bring the other. And I'd apply a penalty to the dexterity check because the characters would be trying to hold on to a rope instead of focusing on not getting thrown off the stairs.
I can't find any pictures that look quite right (not a lot of castles build with big gaping shafts in the middle of a spiral staircase up a tower), but picture this with a wall on the outside of the stairs, and the door closed instead of open and you've got the idea:
