1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Cobra Jet
1969 Chevy Camaro ZL1
1970 Chevy Chevelle SS

Re: Off Duty #4 (OOC)
As someone who is 6 feet barefoot, you cant. Lol. I had a '76 with the 2L Type 3/Porsche style engine that was so much fun but speed bumps, potholes, big cracks in the road and you're hitting your head. But they are so much fun its worth it. Besides the real treat comes from looking at the 1/8" sheet metal that is all that's between you and oncoming traffic since your sitting on the wheels, but that bumpers got you, right. lol

As a man that is 6' 4 3/4" without shoes I will take the warning into consideration. Sucks when you are tall, can't have anything you want.Taaz wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 8:19 pm As someone who is 6 feet barefoot, you cant. Lol. Re: Off Duty #4 (OOC)
Yeah I actually think beetles are pretty good, i dont get so cramped its more that seat-over-wheel design really limits how much you can lower them. I gotta get my Thing fixed up and back on the road, thats my no more computers vehicle, theoretically

Re: Off Duty #4 (OOC)
Well the only other thing I wanted my wife said "You are not getting a motorcycle, because you will kill yourself on one." same line my mother told me as a teenager ironically.
Other than that I like some of the older Trucks. Most of them are Chevy. Like a 1970 Chevy C10 or C/K 10.
Look at me a guy born in the 80's that is into stuff from the late 60's to 70's.

Re: Off Duty #4 (OOC)
It isn't our fault that most of the stuff they designed since the 60s and 70s looks like shoe boxes, bubbles, or shoe boxes full of bubbles. Given a lot of the designs have improved in the last 20 or so years, but not much.

Re: Off Duty #4 (OOC)
Well to make matters sound "better or worse" depending on who you are if any of the vehicles I listed had a Hemi that would be a cherry on top.

Re: Off Duty #4 (OOC)
Also I thought the Elenore from gone in 60 secs was a Shelby GT 500?
Which after watching Ford vs Ferrari I know a bit more about Shelby and the GT.

Re: Off Duty #4 (OOC)
The Nova is a great choice IMO it should have been on my list

Re: Off Duty #4 (OOC)
My wife's first car was a Nova. She cannot tell me anything about it other than "When I pushed the gas it when VRRROOOOOOOM!!!" And I swear, that really is the direct quote.

Re: Off Duty #4 (OOC)
I have always been a more a Jeep/Land Rover guy then a car guy. Give me an old Series Land Rover and I am all set.
Re: Off Duty #4 (OOC)
My folks love jeeps, but I can only be in one with the roof off and my head it halfway over the windshield. Drove their jeep one time and swore I never would again. If they ever work out the seating for a big guy, I will try it again. I will admit it would be fun to have one of those WWII era military jeeps to just drive trails on though. Something low speed so I am not eating bugs.
