Yeah, sorry about that. I've fallen behind on posting summaries. I'm trying to have them done by the end of this week.

Different weather, different soil, even different bees! I think maybe we should be growing what already grows on the island
This is brilliant! When Daisy hears about this, she's gonna be kicking herself.

So will Wes. He has had the Identify Plant Type ability since 3rd level... D'oh!

I about smacked myself for not thinking about this earlier. Just hit me like a bolt from the blue yesterday. I started reading up on Jungle and Rain Forest-based food crops. There are a lot of them. I'm hoping this will be a game changer.

That only took 30 players what, three years to come up with?

Better late then never, I suppose.

I feel the same way. I was looking at Wes' sheet about three days ago and noticed that ability. Sat there wondering "How can I use that?"

I'm in the middle of updating some threads.

If anyone has anything to add to the rumors section viewtopic.php?p=488389#p488389.

Or important basic info about island happenings viewtopic.php?p=488393#p488393, let me know.

Thanks again for doing all that, man!

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I really like how it’s not all completely accurate. Reminds me of the “false” rumors on the lists in the old modules.

The groups leader is certain that it is only a matter of time before his new splendid little toy eliminates the beast for good, so he shouts out the command word once again. "One Dress!" But much to his chagrin, instead of a devastating ray of withering, a small stream of butterflies exit the tip of the wand this time, leaving the normally cool headed Chauncey looking rather flummoxed.
OMG!!! Wand of Wonder!!! Run for the hills!!!!

He's lucky he got hold of the right end. IIRC, the damn thing doesn't have an obvious handle.

Attn. Bluehorse and Urson. Since Daisy, Liam and Jaxsen are all planning a trip to the Dwarves and the Natives, would either of you mind if I kick off the story? Just to get us together and moving? I saw that Daisy has actually gone out looking for companions and Liam and Jaxsen are already planning a trip to the Native village, so the rest is just connecting the dots.

Light Crosbow - To hit: [1d20+1] = 19+1 = 20 (DEX adj.); Dmg: S/M/L [1d4] = 4

Next time, get yourself a short bow, 1-6 damage and two shots in a round...
I know how you feel. I chose a crossbow for Maag, my fighter/thief. I know I had a good reason at the time. But I can't remember what it is now. :? .As a fighter he qualifies for a shortbow.

I think it might have been "Oh he's a street thug. He never would have had a chance to learn to use a shortbow." Honestly, the sacrifices we make for "flavor" (*Clutches pearls and faints dead away*)

We have whole threads devoted to the crossbow in D&D/RPGs, in fact there is one going on now I think. It's one of the biggest screw ups from a realistic stand point that there is.
