Lerrick
The cleric stays behind the mighty Gramble and Cresty. With no direct line of sight she can't fire her sling. She stays back and waits to aid if necessary.
If Cresty's attack hits...
The cleric shouts.
Nicely done Cresty! You finally hit something!

Back To Work
Freeday, 19th of Goodmonth
Early Morning, Partly Cloudy, Warm, Humid
In a sudden flash of action, combat with the charging minotaur erupts through the ranks. Gramble gets so excited to finally be able to swing his huge ax at something, he trips over an exposed tree root and begins to stumble forward.
(Give me a normal [3d6] Dex check to see if he falls completely. If you pass you can resume the attack this round)
Alordan and Cresty also step up towards the action, bracing their attacks against the charging bullman. The ranger wonders out loud where the creatures keep coming from as his strike misses the mark. Cresty however, finally finds a target he is intending to hit, stabbing his sword deep into the midsection of the oncoming charger. The beast roars from the pain as it too delivers a strong hack with its mighty double bladed ax, hitting the paladin hard and cutting him deeply.
6 dam
The spell casters in the group react just as quickly, three of them tossing their magic at the same time. Tlachtga summons a large patch of the heavy foliage around the monster to come alive to secure it where it stands. Unable to target only the attacker, she drops her spell in the area directly in front of her position, sending the remainder of it away from her and back into the jungle. Sadly, she also unintentionally traps the charging Alordan and Cresty in its area as well, along with her dog Cu, who also leaped in to bite the minotaur unsuccessfully.
(Sorry Rex, but that spell has an area affect and cant be cast directly upon an enemy. I'll need a save vs. Spells from those three in order to attack again this round.)
Saracen pulls out a polished circle of shiny glass and prays for Pholtus to send down a ray from the sun that he can direct towards the aggressor. The beam hits the bullman square in its face, burning and blinding it with light and pain as its facial fur singes. It howls out even louder as it thrashes around in natures bonds. Andronichishche calls on the power of his god, calling for even more light to surround the eyes of the attacking monster. It is now clearly very, very blinded.
Maag trots across the standing stones at the top of the ring of huge rocks. He is about to leap down upon the minotaur for a crippling back attack when he spots the foliage around the monster and his friends alike come to life, attempting to hold them all in place right where they stand.

Alordan thrashes in the magical foliage. Unable to attack, he calls out in frustration in the few languages he knows,
"what do you want here?!?"
Save vs Spells (16) [1d20] = 3

Gramble is right at the edge of the area of effect. So he can attack safely with his longer weapons without concern of becoming entangled.
Unless he rolls another one, of course.

Gramble recovers from his stumble and using his massive axe Labrys swings for the minotaurs head

As Andronichishche completes his spell he notes with satisfaction as a bright light blossoms directly onto the minotaur's eyes, effectively blinding the bipedal bull. He blinks in surprise, however, as almost simultaneously a searing ray of light burns into the beast's head, unaware of any low level clerical spell capable such an effect.
This questioning thought is interrupted with alarm as the vines, limbs, and roots of the jungle plants erupt to life and quickly ensnare Sir Crestbrook! Fortunately, the minotaur is equally bound by the flailing flora, but he's unsure whether the druid's magic is sufficient to hold against the monster's great strength. Unwilling to abandon diplomacy just yet, Andron calls out again, this time in a louder voice to carry over the noise of battle and bestial roars.
"You are helpless! Don't force us to kill you! Surrender! Now!"

Maag
When he sees what has happened to everybody in the moving vegetation, Maag abandons his plan to jump down from the rocks. He thinks about switching to his crossbow, then realizes that a shot might hit one of his companions instead of the minotaur.
He still thinks about switching to his crossbow, but after a moment he remembers that he actually quite likes his companions. Well, most... some...a few... a couple of them.
Keeping his sword in hand, he moves back across the rocks to a point where he could jump down if the minotaur were to break free.

Yes, it, Cu, Alordan, and Cresty are all caught in the spell.
Are my maps really that bad?

don't forget he gets +2 to all his saves. Unless he’s lost that power too due to his murderous ways
there’s no winky face emoji!

Tlachtga
Cu Save vs Spell [1d20] = 7
Tlachtga casts Faerie Fire on the Minotaur.
Everyone is +2 to hit him.

Maybe Maag can drop a very large rock (or several ...) on its head to knock it out.

I only answer to D M.
Crestbrook has only experienced difficulties while detecting for evil.....so far.
So, yes, the +2 would apply here, allowing him enough mobility to attack this round if he so desires.

Thank you DM
Cresty
The paladin rips through the plant growth with ease, then brings his sword down with brutal force slicing deep into the foe's shoulder.
AGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!
1d20 (+2 FF) for 2d8:
[1d20+2] = 17+2 = 19 [2d8] = 9
I forgot to include his +1 damage (str 15) on the last attack and on this one as well. I will not forget on any future hits
