FYI: I am in one of the power alert areas of Northern California, which may be powered down by ("bless their hearts") PG&E (Pacific Gas & Electric for everyone else).

So... I may be going dark for a few days. As in, no electricity.

Better to light (an LED) candle than to curse the darkness.

Hey, Baldorar. Totally didn’t pick up that Galanthas was also looking to grab that candle. Didn’t mean to snake it from you. :) Anyway, I actually was expecting some immediate, horrible result. Just pushing all the buttons in the room to see what they do. :)

 Nah don't worry. Someone had to die a horrible death. Better for Galanthas that it was Chauncey the one risking it

Monocar

Love that Chauncey is starting to decide the inner workings of Monocar's brain and the way I the player an trying to make suggestions via the filter that is my (hopefully) lovable idiot.

True or False?
There is nothing sadder than logging on here and finding the "Big Shiny Island" icon not lit up on the Campaign list page...

I'm back. I so love Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (NOT).

The power went out 2 am Wednesday morning and came back on 8:30 pm Thursday night. No food was lost, there was still running water, and my stove top is propane, so it wasn't too bad. I am still not happy.

We currently make our own electricity with some solar panels and a wind generator. So far so good. Welcome back.

TOTALLY TRUE!

How do you think it makes me feel? There is like, 30 of you and only one of me.

(This post made me smile, though. So thanks for that!)

Sometime during the afternoon, Luther speaks to the others in the room with him. It feels like we're being used as pawns by unseen players on a gameboard we don't recognize.
In an EPIC burst of self-awareness, Luther shatters the fourth wall!

He is going to look about the room he is in, clearing his head of the chatter from the other party members. He wanted to get a break from all of the personalities clashing for a little while. When he is done, he will quietly stand outside the door to the room, just looking around. He is curious why there is a temple to Pelor on the island, how long it has been abandoned, and why. Perhaps it can be rebuilt, he thinks.
Sometimes it feels like Brother Gilbert is a substitute teacher for a very ill behaved kindergarten class... :)

In Chauncey' defense, whose asinine behavior is certainly the source of much of the "clashing," he had terrible upbringing by a lawful evil mother. :)

Unless you were holed up in a functional library or something, I can’t allow magical writing exchange to happen out in the field. That procedure requires far too much specific preparation to be done outside of your “home base”.

I believe G’s spell was called Restore Vigor, but that might be moot till you get back home.
