The group moves quickly around the remaining rats, and through the south door, abandoning the remains of Nimh's pack.
The door leads to another 10 foot wide corridor, heading east. Thirty feet to the east, there is a door in the north wall of the corridor, and the corridor continues beyond the edge of your light.
To the west, the corridor opens up into an open space. The north wall of the corridor continues, creating the north wall of this room. Along the north wall of the room, about 20 feet west of you, you see a door heading north. You can dimly see the west wall of the room at the edge of your torchlight.

Moving west, you find that it is a bare 30x30 room. You have entered from the northeast corner, where there is a corridor going east.
The east wall goes 20 more feet south. In the southern end of the east wall, there is a door going east.
The south wall goes 20 feet west, then turns 45 degrees north, giving the room a short "southwest" wall. This southwest wall goes 10 feet north and 10 feet west, and has a door in it going southwest.
The west wall continues 20 feet north.
The north wall is 30 feet long. In the center of the north wall, there is a door going north.
There doesn't seem to be much in this room. It looks empty.

The unknown sends a few shivers down his spine."Maybe we shouldn't travel too far from the domed room exit." Who is making a map of the discovered labyrinth? Moony can scrawl a few notes in his journal but his map making skills are a bit flow-chartish.

This is actually a good point... do you guys want to make a map? How do you want this to work? There are various possibilities... I'll try to nudge you about "this is where you just came from" but part of the point is that it will get very disorienting without a map, and you may get lost.

The door in the north wall goes back the way we came, towards the corridor that brought us in. We should check that next to make sure.
I don't think Lhainor would be able to map...he's in plate, carrying a shield and a sword or a sledgehammer. He also has nothing to map with, though he could occasionally mark the dungeon walls/doors with a burnt-out torch (instead of chalk).

Moony tries the door in the southwest corner, but finds it stuck, as well. The group puts some effort into trying to force the door to the north.... *BANG*. Still stuck... *BANG*... still stuck.
The noise, though, seems to have attracted some attention. You hear a door not far down the east corridor slam open, and hear a disturbing hissing noise from the darkness!

Lhainor immediately advances to the doorway, blocking entry of whatever is coming down the hallway, and attacks with his sword when it is in range. Someone bring the light up behind me so we can see what's coming, and if anyone has a missile weapon and can shoot before I get there (I'm slow), do so. (Nothing that hisses is going to be very friendly).
If necessary (I don't know how many it will take to block the passage), someone else join me in the doorway. I may not get there in time.

Nimh turns and heads over to back up Lhainor. She suspects it may be undead, once she can see it, if it appears it is undead she will attempt to turn it.

Round 1
The creature rushes west down the corridor toward the room you are in. Meeting it at the entrance to the room, you see that it is an animated corpse, its body slick with blackish blood. Manic eyes stare as it rushes at you with its mouth wide open. It looks feral, and eager to bite you. It advances too quickly for anyone to get a shot off before it closes with you. (If you had had a bit more notice, like if it had emerged a bit further up the corridor, or if you had generally had a guard with missile weapons trained there, you could have had weapons ready as it emerged from the darkness).
Nimh attempts to turn the slippery dead corpse, but it doesn't seem to respond to that at all. Less armored than the others, Fane hangs back.
The walking dead attacks Kohrek, grabbing onto his shield arm (4 pts), attempting to get past it to bite him! Kohrek is restrained!
Moony steps forward to swing at the thing with his mace, trying to knock it off of Kohrek (2 damage).
Kohrek manages to push off his attacker, but his counterattack is spoiled for the round. Theglid and Lhainor try to attack it, as well, but do not manage to hit the zombie.

There's nothing of note on the zombie. Just pretty ragged, bloody clothes & skin.
No one was actually hurt. Kohrek was grabbed, but he managed to get free. It totally seemed like the thing was going to bite him if it had held on, though...
