Sylvan gives Grim two taps of the healing wand and one to Ciar.

I'll post rolls tonight when I have access to the roller. Otherwise I'm fine with DM or the players doing it.

Fulp calls back out to Sylvan after the taps of the wand...
Dont forget me, friend. I wont be able to fight even a rabbit with my current wounds.

"My apologies, Fulp. Here's a bolus for you too."

Edited to include rolls for healing.

Grim:

Cure light wounds [2d8] = 10 on Grim

Fulp:

Cure light wounds [1d8] = 1 on Fulp

Ciar:

Cure light wounds [1d8] = 1 on Ciar

Sylvan holds up the wand and taps the bottom of it. He then peers at it closely. "Can't trust these deity-based wands. Flame out at the worst time..." he mutters.

Grim is restored to almost full health after the generous applications of the healing wand, but Ciar and Fulp find very little relief from the magical stick. After the rats corpses have been cleared from the entrance, Ciar volunteers to return to the tunnel to investigate the degree of success their burn out plan had.

Before proceeding, I just want to confirm whether or not anyone is going to enter with Ciar, or if the halfling is going to go in alone.

Sparrow looks to the halfling to see if he wants help this time. If not, the large human is content to let the wee folk do the scouting again.

"If anyone wants to join my, they can. Grim, you might not have as hard a time as the tall folk, if you feel up to it. If not, I'm fine going in on my own."

Ciar waits no more than a few seconds longer for anyone else who wants to join him before taking one of the Everbright torches in his off hand and sword in the other to see if the cave has been cleared.

Kassal smooths his robes and steps forward, an everbright lantern in his hand.

"I am happy to follow you at a small distance. Say 10 FT back"

"Ach I would follow you, my friend but how 'bouts me mail? Does it not spoil yer stealth?"
He clasps Sylvan's arm
"Thanks my friend - that sure was a close one. I felt the call of me ancestors from the beyond fer sure."

Fulp asks Sylvan,
" I think you left that thing set to 'small'. I cant say it helped me much. Mind trying it again, please.

"Just five minutes ago, I ran in and threw a lit vial of oil into a rat's nest. I imagine stealth is right out at this point, Master Grim. What I need now is strength and steel. But it isn't a big deal if you stay out here. Let's go, Kas..."

Ciar enters the tunnel and makes his way to the first intersection.

Ciar and Kassal enter the northern tunnel.

"Good luck!" whispers Sylvan as the two enter the passage. He nods at Grim in recognition of his thanks, but replies "I just bear the wand. We all are to thank for it's power."

He gives Fulp another tap with it...with slightly better results.

Cure light wounds [1d8] = 4 on Fulp

Finally, he turns to Sparrow. "Shall we ready the net? If Ciar and Kassel are pursued, we can drop it after they exit and maybe catch something..."

Sylvan looks for a good position above the cave mouth.

Sparrow nods in agreement to the druids question. He also positions himself along with Sylvan, trying to drop the net on anything coming out right behind their friends.

Fulp regains some needed vitality while Sylvan and Sparrow prepare to use the net on any non-friendly that should attempt to escape the tunnel.

Sylvan keeps an eye out for any potential animal buddies, listening to hear any noise coming from the passage Ciar and Kassel traveled down.

Fulp likewise keeps his guard, looking around the perimeter as they await the scouts.

Sparrow waits patiently with net in hand, ready to toss it on any unsuspecting enemies.

He also keeps a sharp eye and ear out for any other intruders in the area.

Fulp whispers,
How long you think they'll be this time?
Maybe we need to come up with a plan B if they dont return. We cant stand here at the ready for too long without losing our edge.

Sparrow sighs deeply as he waits patiently.

I think Ciar was our edge. I hope they return soon, or at least give us some type of sign that they are ok.

I don't suppose any of us would like to crawl in there to check on them?
