Sorry, guys. Unlike my previous job, my new one (which I'm only two days into) has already proven to lack the opportunity to check in during the day. That, coupled with my loss of update time during my commute is making it extremely difficult right now.
The game is not at risk... but the pace of play, at least temporarily, might be.
One thing to keep in mind, even when there seem to be "off" days publicly, things may very well still be working behind the scenes in the private forums. I will do my best to keep up, but please bear with me while I adjust into this new job, and schedule, and try to fit everything in.

No problem Dave. Sounds like they're keeping you busy at work.

RL is always more important, Dave.
If we can only get posts 6.5 days of the week instead of seven, well, then, so be it.

Exactly. And if you need one of us to make a couple DM posts for you along the way, describing the massive amount of gold we found or how the monster peed on themselves and ran away, so be it.

See that? Party working together already.

I'd be willing to role play the NPC sage in the village, who grants us each 10 Wishes for killing the flind.

And since there's so much going on, you probably forgot that Sylvan found that ring of protection +6/fire immunity behind the candelabra. But don't worry, I marked it on my sheet.

Ha! We should be happy if we see a magical Dagger +1!

Also, before I move everyone towards the coastal town, I need to clarify what became of the old man's possessions. Did anyone take anthing other the candelabra, or was he buried with his pack?

I thought someone grabbed his pack? If not, Sparrow will have a peek through it before we leave. Nobody wants to take the armor?

Madrevin did search the pack: I meant to follow up since there was no indication of what they were going to do with it, if anything, so I'm doing that now.

OGRE MAGE wrote:"Sparrow will have a peek through it before we leave."
The elderly warrior's pack was filled with only a few possessions: a single torch, flint and steel, bedroll, leather map or scroll case, small metal flask and two days worth of rations.

OGRE MAGE wrote:Nobody wants to take the armor?
I'm glad you brought this up as well as I assumed the man was put to rest in his armor. Feel free to indicate otherwise if that's not the case.
If anyone is interested in the armor, the elderly man stood 5'8" for sizing purposes.
