While Elsa signs some autographs, a reporter comes up to her, shoving a microphone into her face. The reporter asks her if she knows anything about what could have caused the mysterious explosion. A couple of other microphones shoot into her face as well after the question is asked. All eyes are on her now. ;)

Elsa gains 10 Repute points and Raven gains 2. Be sure to update the scores accordingly on your sheets, they affect how you present yourselves, your celebrity status more or less.

The reporters are satisfied with Elsa's response, nodding their heads as some write it down on their notepads. After a few moments, the crowds start to disperse as the fire department and police start to take control of the area. Setting up the yellow tape and cones and all that good stuff. Elsa then takes the time to walk over to where Raven is hiding, showing him that her laser beam owl eyes can see through even his efforts ;)

Raven opens his eyes and looks up to Elsa, "Sorry, first thought was to save you." He then slowly gets up, dusting himself off slightly, "I agree, we should get going.... And, thank you. I don't belong in the spot light."

Short of teleporting back into the room that exploded, there is no way back in while the police have the place under lockdown. The laptop is indeed still in there as well as some of Nelson Warren's other personal effects. There is a local airport some miles away from where you are, you could rent a vehicle and not return it, or you could just hoof it. Remember, you will be covering a distance between Montana and the eastern US coast.

Would the laptop even be there? It was opened and was right next to the exploding bomb. Unless the case is blast proof and Elsa closed it I don't see how it could have escaped. I am also cool with renting a vehicle, Or if Ruke would allow it we could always fly :D

You raise a good point. If there is nothing left of the laptop, then the police cannot pin anything onto your character, if something did miraculously surive... well, I guess you will find out eventually ;)

With Elsa's platinum card, it's ability of spending can take you far in this campaign, but know that there will always be a chance for something to go wrong (plane hijackings.... flat tires....freak storms.... giant robot attack... you know, s@#t hitting the fan and all that. I have a monkey on standby for such scenarios, throwing arm at the ready. :) ).

Raven raises one eyebrow towards Elsa, before following behind her, not saying a word.

The dynamic duo will get a cab to the airport. Elsa will call her sister Anya to arrange for a private jet.

The cab drive to the airport is uneventful, save Raven's rumbling stomach and the awkward silence during the the hour and a half drive. They start to see a big control tower in the distance, they are close to their destination now. It is then that Elsa notices something doesn't seem right, almost like she can hear something behind them. Sure enough, a black vehicle with black-tinted windows is speeding up towards them. A man hangs out of one of the windows and starts to fire off a handgun. Bullets pierce the windows of the cab, shattering glass all over the place! The driver starts to cuss up a storm, panicking about what the hell is going on. And... Raven's stomach lets out an even louder growl than before, as if there was a baby bear in the vehicle. He's hungry.

Actions and rolls! Have fun ;)

"DRIVE " shouts Elsa as She summons ice to cover the road behind them.

Permafrost Generate Ice [1d100+60] = 91+60 = 151

"Can you poof his gun?" to Raven.

Raven ducks down as the bullets hit the window, "No, as far as I know I can only do it to myself and anything I am holding." He braves a peak at the vehicle and people shooting at him, trying to tell anything about them. "Try freezing their tires!"

The ice slick is created and for a moment the pursuing vehicle swirves a bit out of control. The cab driver puts the pedal to the metal, trying to escape the hostile vehicle behind him. He is still shouting his colorful language as he does so, asking Elsa and Raven what the hell is going on! He also talks about increasing the fee for using this cab, saying something along the lines of paying for damages.

The ice slick works wonders, but only for a few moments. The cars tires start to transform while turning on the ice, spikes shooting out to get better grip of the road. The black car is now back on track and the man upgrades his handgun to an assult rifle.

"Well, let's see if the tires hold air! " shouts Elsa as She attempt to raise spikes out of the ice sheet.

Permafrost Control Ice (20) [1d100+30] = 63+30 = 93

Seeing as how useless raven is in this type of fight he turns to the cab driver, "Do you have a gun?!"

"HELL NO!!" the cab driver says incredulously! "Do I look like some gangster hitman who would carry firearms in his vehicle!"

The ice spikes from the sheet of ice start to work its magic as the spiky car wheels start to slowly deflate. The driver and gunman in the black car realize this as they start to lose some distance. Then it happens, the gunman, not wanting to let you get away, pulls out a rocket launcher. Yes, things just got serious. *Pulls out popcorn and drink* You can tell, from the state that the cab is in, that the vehicle will not surive a direct rocket blast.
Teleportation
The character may teleport a number of sectors equal to the Rank Value of this power in a single turn. Teleporting requires the player to roll d% on the Master Table using the Rank Value of this power. A result of Black means the character arrives dazed at the destination sector and must spend the next turn recovering (the character may take no actions that turn).

If the character is unfamiliar with – or cannot see – the destination sector and teleports into a solid object – which can include the ground – the player must roll d% on the Master Table using the Rank Value of the character’s Fortitude. A result of Black immediately bounces the character back to the starting sector where the character is dazed and must spend 1-10 turns recovering (taking no actions during that time). Any other result immediately bounces the character back to the starting sector where the character is dazed for one turn.
You know... after reviewing the power explanation on teleportation, I did not read anything on not being able to teleport items to your character...leaves some room for how the character uses his/her ability, don't you think? ;)

State your actions and place down your rolls people! :)
