Agrippo will go retrieve his spear and at least attack any shadows or movement around or beyond the organ.

"blast, would have skewered the b'stard like some bar-b-qued rat. well we'll be ready for the next time"

"You sit at the table of evil!" Vorkath suddenly flips the table over crashing the food on the floor. "You 'consider' his words. This creature traps us, keeps a Land imprisoned in terror!"

The paladin's barbarian anger is mixing with righteous belief. "It matters not about Eva or anything else! His words are lies, his existence an affront to the living, Vampyres cannot be allowed to exist!"

Vorkath pours oil over the organ keys and pipes and sets it ablaze. He continues his tirade: "Druid and dwarf, you must focus mind and fight with us as one! For if we do not, we will all die as one."

"Do you forget Robert that Strahd has corrupted nature and beast in Barovia? Is your faith so lax you give credence and good manners to this evil?"

Vorkath spits at the fire. He throws the table cloth and wooden chairs to feed the fire. "This castle must fall, and Strahd burnt to ashes with it."

"We must needs find the holy medallion, the sword of light, the library with secrets to help us," Vorkath utters, looking at Iluq in expectation of his divine talent of finding objects.

He lights a torch by the fire, its light playing on the paladin's armor like a shining angel of vengeance. He is losing patience at Strahd's game. He knows the vampyre is watching them, for how could such illusion be performed otherwise.

"Now let us do this as one. We will need all our strengths to overcome the evil," Vorkath says more calmly.

Zealotry and stupidity will not help us stay alive ye' big moron! hisses Tumbler. We've all traveled together enough to know where we all stand, do ye doubt us now?!

Robert echos Tumbler's words with his own flavor. "Are you such a fool to not know planning, cunning, wit. Rushing in headstrong like a dolt will ear you death you foolhardy bullheaded Paladin. I was trying tact and yet you doubt me, question MY FAITH! What do you know of druid's and THEIR WAYS? If you wish to act as a addlebrained barbarian then I think this is where I part ways with you."

Iluq looks between the group as they bicker amongst themselve before declaring loudly,"Everyone STOP! Do you see this is what Strahd wants? to divide us and have us bicker amongst ourselves?!? Do not play into his game! what is done is done and we must now stand together or we will die by Strahds hands." he look between the Paladin and the Druid, "Please, I beg both of you to calm down and take in your surroundings, we are comrades in the fight against evil and we need everyone if we are going to survive in this war against good and evil." Iluq then looks to everyone in the group, "What is done is done and whether it was the right choice does not matter, what matters is we are currently in Strahd's stronghold, being watched from every direction, they are waiting for a chance to strike, for a chance when we are weakened and divided. Let us stand strong and show this den of evil that the Light will not bend so easily to it's tricks. We will defeat the evil in this place and save the land from it's tyrany, Do you stand with me or will we play into their games and fall divided?!"

Tumbler takes a deep puff of his pipe before answering. I'm for living and beating this thing. That means we use our brains an' work together.

Robert having spoken his mind straightens his clothing with one hand and gets calm head about him. "You are right Tumbler, I just could no longer hold my tongue. Thank you friend."

Time: 5:30 PM
Weather: Thunderstorm
Moon: Full
Location: Castle Ravenloft, Dining Hall
**************************************

Robert relights his torch, illuminating the darkened hall. The great doors stand shut.

Tibbius incants a charm to protect Ireena from evil.

Tumbler tries to finish his food, but his repast is interrupted by Vorkath's rage. The paladin upends the table, douses the organ with oil, sets it aflame, and begins piling furniture on the fire. The effect of the fire on the organ and the furniture piled on top of it is to raise a cacophony of discordant notes that sound throughout the castle. Thick black smoke starts to fill the room.

You bicker and shout at each other. It seems the organ is not the only conflagration sparked by Vorkath’s tantrum.

Robert eats a goodberry and sticks near Tumbler. "Well now starting a large fire indoors when we are stuck in here was smart wasn't it? Then Robert casts Obscurement. Checked off spell as used on sheet.

whooa one action at a time please! not that I mind this organ going up but Agrippo is searching around behind and beyond the machine. You wrote of mirrors, Agrippo will check them out in case one leads to a not-so-secret door. If Strahd was here he can't have gone far.

"suggest someone picks up the remnants of food available, fruit, wine, breads and I'll take an extra mutton joint, we could be in for along stay!"

Are there any other doorways/exits from this room? where to next?

Robert will grab up any 'undamaged' fruits and nuts and put them in his pack. "You may be right Agrippo, I just merely wanted to make it harder for anyone to attack us that is why I cast my spell. Check around as you wish I'll try and watch out backs but we should get out of this area as the smoke could will harm and hinder us if we cannot vent it out soon or extinguish that fire."

Vorkath nods his head in agreement.
Is there a map or should we do one?

I've been waffling on doing as-you-go maps. On the one hand, I picked up some really neat ones off the Internet and imported them into RPTools. On the other, I think having the castle laid out for you in detail spoils some of the mystery of the castle layout. So ATM I'm thinking of posting maps when needed for battle, but not when just moving around the castle. If you have opinions on this, let me know in the OOC thread.

It would be nice to at least have something of a layout of the current room and what we can see. But I don't know how easily you can do that. Blackout what we aren't to see yet or maybe at least tell us what out options in the room are is there a staircase, hallway, doors? (other than the closed/sealed & locked ones)

The current room is 40x40, with a large pair of closed double doors in the center of the east wall. The organ, now serving as the fuel for a bonfire, is in the center of the west wall.

"shall we head for the large double doors to the east?" Robert asks everyone listening.

Iluq looks towards the great doors, "Yes, I agree on getting out of this room at least."

The doors to the east are those we entered by. What did Agrippo find near the organ if anything? At the risk of more bad luck he will break the mirrors with his spear. "Perhaps we can save the oil we have now and use a couple of flaming chair leg brands to light our way forward?"Agrippo will say, passing one to Ireena.

Vorkath tries the doors. If it's locked he'll try to bust it open. He has a torch still. He takes a piece of chalk and scrawls on the inside of his shield a rough map of the three rooms they've passed through.
Open Doors [1d6] = 1
Map forthcoming.
