If Darrin awakens from O'rek's healing, Kendrick will grab a javelin, take spear in hand, and follow behind Ewell. If it appears that Darrin needs further healing, Kendrick will lay on hands.

Ewell quickly turns toward the warning and heads toward the door with his sword ready, waiting only long enough to not outrun the lamp's glow.

Confident O'rek will tend to the fallen Darrin, Kendrick follows Ewell, switching back to the spear he borrowed from Ewell while picking up one of the trogs' javelins in case he needs it.

O'rek does remain back and casts 'Cure Light Wounds' on Darrin, which wakes the young apprentice from his state of unconsciousness.

Kendrick steps toward the tunnel and emerges almost immediately. To O'rek and Darrin, he warns, "This tunnel leads to a larger chamber with—surprise, surprise—more trogs. I've suggested that we set up our defense here to use the chokepoint to our advantage. Please keep an eye on the other entrance to this room, in case they try to come up behind us."

O'rek and Darrin notice Kendrick return from the far passageway and hear an immediate warning, "This tunnel leads to a larger chamber with—surprise, surprise—more trogs. O'rek shakes his head and sighs "no end to these buggers?..." and moves to keep watch on the other tunnel..

Ewell will step back into that room, based on kendrick's plan.

O'rek shakes his head. "No end to these buggers?..." he sighs as he moves to join the rest of the group, keeping an eye on the other tunnel. Ewell quickly moves away from the far side of the chamber wall and rejoins the others in the chamber itself.

Once the knight and cleric meet with the rest in the center of the chamber, Epsilon offers: "Perhaps we should go back and take a tunnel branch to try and come at them from another angle?" Kendrick agrees and, knowing the plan is to seek a side tunnel to approach the vile troglodyte beasts from a different angle, Ewell agrees as well. He leads the group out the original entrance to the chamber they're huddled in and, after a wavy fifty feet, arrives at the four-way intersection where he spies an arrow drawn into the ground with chalk, pointing down their current path, along with an "Ewell is a goat farmer" message scrawled into the rock floor.

is there any sign that humans have been toward the north east? ie human footprints versus trog prints? if so, EWell will turn that way. IF not, he will go south east since they havent been that way.

Ewell reaches the four-way intersection and motions for the rest of the group to remain cautious behind him. With Kendrick at his back providing torch light, the young knight begins to investigate the eastern branches, looking to see if there are any obvious signs of human tracks or other markings but the only obvious markings are those to the southwest which were previously left by the group.

Nothing is actually seen down either of the eastern passages, but the unmistakable troglodyte stench penetrates the passage leading to the northeast.

The stench from the northeast is noticeable, but not strong enough at this point to require a saving throw.

The group quickly but cautiously passes the four-way intersection and heads down the southeast tunnel. Ewell, followed by Kendrick with the torch, reaches another 'Y' intersection, with branches running northeast and southeast. Nothing unexpected is noticed down either branch for the extent of your illumination, nor are there any scents detected down either.
