Are we really planning to spend at least the next hour in this room? That's the minimum time to figure out even the simplest device.

The Goosh will only stay cooperative for so long, even id would get tired standing at the control console, continuously pushing buttons, trying to keep the enemy from opening the hatch once more. An hour is definitely a long time to waiting around for one person to figure something out. Did you guys want to split up into different groups if that's the case? One explores the ship further while the other stays behind.

Alex is only looking at the artifact until a decision is made about where to go what to do. He's not suggesting they wait until he figures more out.

Abel is getting dreadfully nervous and fidgety regarding the party's current status and circumstances. Having already grabbed up the items he removed from the dead Saathor in the cargo bay, he moves over and positions himself at the wall next to the door the aliens came through when they attacked.

He draws his hand axe and makes ready before calling back to the others. "What's our play here, guys? Goosh can't just keep trying to close the cargo hatch forever. Those frakking mean greenies are eventually going to realize they can't open that hatch and will try something else. I vote we either take the fight to them or get off this crashed tub asap!"

A clear yet alien computerized voice sounds over ships speakers:
"Assstereth bessstil Tuk. "
The device Zengar tossed earlier replies in English:
"Cargo bay override. Opening outer ramp."
The ramp hisses again, trying to lower, but the Dralasite is quick to cancel the action at the control panel. This time his actions were observed by Zengar(NPC)
"If those controls are all that I need learn to thwart our foe," Zengar says, "Then leave it to me and I will hold off the tide of those who sleep not." He steps into Goosh Gooshs place.
"Our gelatinous friend may be of help as you explore the mechanicions of our enemy. Go! I will hold the way. If safe refuge is found, seek me then!"

I'm going to probably open up recruiting again to replace our dearly departed, and see If we can make this campaign a little more active again :)

The Goosh looks to Zengar with a bit of surprise. Seeing this as an oppurtunity to explore the ship more, the Goosh accepts and makes ids way to the cargo bay room exit, joining the others. Before id departs, the Goosh will turn around and wave at the Pringles lady, sending ids goodbyes.

Although he just met Zengar and the other fellow, Abel isn't sure splitting up their newly-formed group is the best idea. Of course, he is sure that he'd rather not wait around in the cargo bay for some other malevolent plan to be hatched upon them by the remaining Saathor.

"If that's the plan, then let's see to it, guys!" he declares, looking over at Alex, Shawn, Goosh and Elvis.

Shawn is still down based off this post:
tooleychris wrote:"NO MORE!" shouts Shawn as he steps out from behind his crate and unleashes a beam of searing heat at the aggressors.
The smoke, while dispersing, still swirls out of the path of Shawns blast and temporarily blinds the Goosh causing his shot to go wide. Alex suffers a similar miss.
The bow of Elvis sings above the din and his arrows strike metal bulkheads deflecting harmlessly.
The blown smoke does provide Abel a clear shot and he easily strikes the farthest alien, sending him to flee down the corridor.
A beam of green light strikes Shawn in the shoulder 11 damage and sends him to the floor.

2 aliens remain in ranged combat. the smoke is non-obscuring now. Round 2 begins! Initiative and action rolls please!

Oh my goodness! I completely forgot about Shawn still being down... don't I just feel like a jerk.

The Goosh, heads over to where Shawn is and checks to see if he can get up on his own, if not, the Goosh will try to pick him up, not wanting to leave him behind.

Once they verify that Shawn is alive, Abel looks to the Goosh, as well as Alex and Elvis. "Maybe we should just leave him here for now? Zengar's got the door covered and I'm sure he'd be good with grabbing him up if he needs to evac. Besides, we're all gonna need both hands free to take on them mean greenies..."

He then looks over to the man at the control panel. "Zengar, can you grab up or drag our friend out of here if you need to bail?"

Alex Auster

Alex looks at his pistol with an important face and makes sure it's not pointed at anyone or anything that he doesn't want shot.

When the group is ready, the Goosh will lead them into the corridor and will take a right.

The corridor extends quite a distance, with many doors on both sides. As you exit the hangar you can see some form of circular platform to the right. past that is an open door which leads into what can only be a medical bay.

When the party groups up and prepares to move out, Abel unslings his bow and readies an arrow. He'll follow Goosh out the doorway and step to his left to make a clear fire lane.

"Wonder where those frakkers are hiding at?" he queries aloud, keeping his bow trained on the hallway and eyes peeled for any trouble.

Elvis opens his mind and listens for thoughts coming from any direction—other than those of his companions, of course. If he hears nothing, he'll move into the medical bay.

The Goosh leads the group into the medical bay, pointing to the cabinets, or what look like cabinets. "The Goosh thinks that there is useful stuff in there, funny tasting liquids and stuff." The Goosh sounds sure of idself and enthusiastic, as it leads the group through the medical bay, like some guide showing tourists around. "Oooo, and over there we have those screens that pop up with colorful lights when someone pushes all of those buttons."
