D'oh! The stuck door is properly stuck.
For now.

"Are you sure that door ain't locked?" Vali laughs. "Maybe we should try the door Myrrh found in the room south."

Yeah, we got one open.
The door opens easily to the right into another 20' by 30' room (20' north-south, 30' extending to the west).

The room appears empty but for two things: a burnt out torch leaning against the western wall and a small rivulet of water running down that same wall, across the room, and down a set of stairs exiting the room to the east from the southeastern corner of the room.

Lastly, a small 10' by 10' alcove extends south from the southwestern corner; there is another door on the southern wall of the alcove.

Options:
1/check stairs
2/check torch
3/check water
4/check alcove & door

Lia moves to the burnt out torch and examines it to see if it has been recently used.

Examines the water coming from the wall. How high is the water source on the wall? Does it appear to it used to be a fountain or some kind of "well" that might have been used as a water source for dwellers of this place? Does look like the ground water is just seeping through the walls? Does it smell? Is it discolored?

The whole area doesn't smell very good. Brondulm would guess the water is seeping in through a crack in the wall, running down the wall, across the room, and down the stairs. It's not a lot of water, but enough to leave a trail.

Lia notes the wood is not rotting, so it's not that old.

To ValiDo you think this wall is stable? Should we be concerned about possible cave ins?

"It doesn't look like a very big crack from here, just seeping cause we are in the middle of a swamp is my guess."

"Someone else watch for a few minutes."

Myrrh will search the room for secret doors and what not. Going clockwise from the door we entered through.

In Rules-As-Written, searching a 10'x10' area will take 1 10-minute turn. Myrrh searching this entire room for secret doors will take at least an hour.

So...anyone wanna help Myrrh? Pick a square...

1-East, 2-Southeast, 3-South, 4-Alcove (south door, east wall, west wall), 5-Southwest, 6-Northwest, 7-North

I doubt there is anything concealed behind the water wall. I would check the northern wall Myrhh, I will go to the alcove and check for secret doors there.

Ellith

Faron looks excitedly at the elf, who in turn smiled at his companion - "Nothing like a go fetch game my friend" - he commented - "You choose"

Immediately the cooshee started sniffing around.

(Not sure where Faron will head, or if he will find anything interesting. Maybe just rats :D)

Snark often pays off in my games. ;)

Faron starts sniffing and stops at the water. After a sneeze, the cooshee picks up a scent on the other side. The elven dog seems to circle the area in front of the alcove without entering it.

When Ellith walks over to examine the floor, his amazing Second Sight allows him to see the outline of a trapdoor! Detect Secret Door [1d6]=4

Faron whimpers in Canine,
"I smell dwarf. Live dwarf."
