The Dawnflower Library
Re: The Dawnflower Library
"Thank you for the healing. Yeah not sure what's up with Tumbler. I was able to sell our traps, will split the silver later when we are all together. What's the plan head priestess?" <smirk>

"My original plan was to hold off on going deeper until the paralyzation wore off the head priestess. We should check on her first and make sure everything is all right with the acolytes before going deeper in and seeing if we can find the source of the trouble."

Re: The Dawnflower Library
So, you have 2-3 options:
- seal/block the entrance to the tunnels
- return and check on Vandy, the high priestess
- go find Tumbler
Which are you going to do?

Same I don't feel like tracking down Tumbler at the moment.

We should do something with those tunnels. If they got in once they can do it again. Let's rally the troops and see what is down there.

"Sound like we are in agreement. Lets see if we can block off the tunnels entrance with the tops of these sarcophagus for now."
You moves to see if she can figure the best way to block them up temporarily.

Re: The Dawnflower Library
Having voted to try and seal off the tunnel, the group gets busy. There are a lot of stones and bricks lying on the ground; plenty to at least do something makeshift and temporary. You figure you'll need some type of mortar to solidify the wall, else whatever is on the other side can just push it down again.

Re: The Dawnflower Library
Returning to the Library, your group finds things a little less chaotic. In fact, an acolyte meets you as you enter. "She's awake! She's awake!"
Sure enough, the acolyte leads you to Vandy's bedside. The elder Halfling is sitting up, propped by pillows. Two acolytes hover over her, but when she sees Khawla, she shoos her attendants away. She looks up at Khawla and the others and smiles. "Ah, now. How did we do?" she asks, her voice strained and hoarse as if she has a cold.

"So far, not bad considering. I think all are accounted for and all the ghouls we have encountered have been laid to rest. We just sealed an opening they were using to enter by but there may be more in the tunnels it leads to. Are you well enough to command here while we search the tunnels for more ghouls?"

In the background, not to interrupt the clerics talking.
"I could use a healing spell if we are going again."

Re: The Dawnflower Library
Vandy waves her hand and frowns. "I'm fine. You go and deal with whatever is down there. I wish I could go with you."
When Alle speaks up, Vandy nods and says. "We do have some healing available. The acolytes have been practicing their spells...on me. They need another victim...erm...patient."
She winks at Alle and then lays back on her pillow, her old eyes tired.
An acolyte dressed in a pale yellow tunic with green trim, asks Alle's permission to examine her wounds. If allowed, the acolyte, a young Half-Elf with long, delicate fingers, cleans the wound with a stringent, causing Alle to take in a sharp breath. The acolyte then invokes healing magic from Saranrae and closes the wound, leaving nothing but a slight bruise.
Healing: [1d8+8]=6+8=14
"Feel better?" she asks.
