Apparently I'm in the hanger, not the garage!
"This is not the Garage you were looking for"
They're adjacent, that's why Jess was leaning on the doorframe as they talked. Not so far apart really.

See map for current tactical positions.
Due to the confusion Freya can have a bit of leeway if she likes. Just state where she is in the garage / hangar area - it's all good!

I'm assuming that Frank can't see the large group approaching from the right, so he would be focused on those on the left, particularly as that's the entrance to the delegates area.

Definitely heading for the garage as I've got a first-aid kit for Jess!

He is aware of both groups (see below).
The VIP area is accessed via the doors North of Jakob's position
and North of Frank's position on the map.
Bit of "cross threading" here but Frank was a victim of orientation in the IC thread (logically he could only have been facing
South). He is
aware of both the east and west groups of insurgents. However, as per the map, he only has a clear line of sight to those coming from the East (Prerna/Erica/Jakob partially block the view West).
Quote from IC thread (NB He's at the junction facing South):
"From the junction looking to his right (west in officer country) he sees Prerna and Erica ... but he can see bad guys beyond them
Frank is aware of more sounds of disturbance to the north. The VIP area
Looking left (east) in the far distance he sees the far lift doors open and a mob of swordsmen spill out into the barracks..." Clear view
I don't think there's any confusion - I'm just trying to remove any lingering doubt!

Humorously, I can't tell right from left without thinking about it. The only reason I caught it on the map was that you mentioned "right" and it was on my primary hand, my left.

Tiglath, apologies for my confusion.
With the new data I think I would have Frank ask Liv to check the delegates area to the North while he worries about the insurgents to the east.
From you description of movement/attack allowed, am I right that Frank cannot move and attack. In which case he will fire at the group to the east. This situation seems the exact reason you would use rapid fire, particularly with a gauss rifle? Particularly, as he is near his room with all his ammo.
I'll post IC.

Snap Shot is 3 actions
Aimed Fire is 6 actions
Covering fire is 3 actions
Walk 1 square: 2 actions (3 if diagonal)
Trot 1 square: 1 action (1.5 if diagonal)
So you can move(3) and snapshot or move(3) and cover.

Thanks BT, I guess rapid fire takes all 6 slots

Yes.
To keep movement simple I'll rule it's an AP per square (irrespective of direction).

It's much easier when they don't shoot back.

What's the AP cost to reload a mag? (not a clip)?

Or when you go for the "a good offense is the best defense". ACRs and grenade launchers vs falxmen.

Falxmen
with grenades.
Kill 'em quick.

That's where I think Morale plays a more important role than Dex. A scared person will hide, or try to act quickly and then hide. Fear triggers a loss of fine motor skills. An experienced military combatant knows they could die at any time. The faster they can apply disciplined fire onto the enemy, the more chance they have of not dying at this moment. Training under pressure helps.

It takes a full round during which you count as evading -1 to be hit - could be useful!
I can see this in that the physical act takes seconds but the looking for an opportunity to
time that action would be the issue in a dynamic environment.
Alternatively Prerna can go to fisticuffs: 8+ To Hit
or
Parry/Dodge: opposed roll add your Dex bonus of +2 (in your case).

I rather felt for the guy who got thrown through a plate glass window and then got one right up main street from Mr. Wick. What a send off!

It's the product of a law level so repressive that you have to make DIY swords and use smuggled weapons where the "pop per kilo" is premium.

IRL, a mag change takes about three seconds - Tap, Rack, Bang. Drop the mag, grab the next mag out of the pouch, where it's correctly oriented, tap it into the mag well, rack the slide, and fire. Remember, she's drilled this move a hundred times.
