Speaking of lists
  • You can do internal headings
  • by not using the bracket tag inside lists,
  • but not for the first line. :(
  • The first line in the list always has a bullet (or number).

    If you already know this
  • Apologies for posting
  • this to the forum.

The option is in the discussion button next to the 'Contact' section, as detailed here.

Everything was fine during the upgrade.... The last two days you are being aggressively flagged by Macafee using the mobile browser on my Android phone. It sends me to their blocker page and "continue anyway" doesn't function. Trying to reload then gets a 404 error. Looking at "additional details" doesn't help me understand why (screenshots attached).

Mobile browsing is a big deal. :) Help?

It's a McAfee thing. I had the site flagged on my laptop while connected to my home network earlier this morning. It was the first time for me, so maybe they made some changes?

Yea, it's a McAfee problem. I personally have never liked McAfee so my suggestion is to stop using it...
But other than that, I can't do anything about it, unfortunately.

I can't figure out how to get Macafee off my phone. Trying a factory reset...

...I can't live like this!

Android or iphone? If it came with the phone, it may just be there again if you factory reset. And no matter what, you shouldn't have to factory reset. At the very least you can bypass mcafee or tell it to ignore errors on this site.

Android.

I can't find any evidence (either applications, or settings) that Macafee is actually installed. Feeling pretty Luddite. I reset my settings every 3-5 months anyway... I'll see what happens now.

Found it now... alphabetically under "Digital" for "Digital Secure" and I can disable web security entirely. No choice for a white list. So fixed for now! (If there's a point in the future where you've adjusted whatever they find objectionable, and I can test it, let me know.)

Might just be me but posting within threads and selecting italic or underline seems to produce text which is also Bold.

Not vital, of course, but for those who value finesse... ;)

Somehow forces your "nuance" to be a little more "shouty" than necessary!

Thanks in advance for all your efforts and the update.

And, of course, special thanks to Steve! ;)

Here’s a test of bold, italic, underlined, and strikehough.

Hm. Looks okay to me (though maybe it just got fixed?).

Happened again! I used italics within an OOC (red) piece of script and got.

in media res

and not

in media res (in red).

It happens when a "dialog" or "ooc" button is used to colour the script. This seems to shift italics into bold italics.

Hardly Armageddon I know... :)

Character sheets sometimes show up, and some times not.

This is actually an older issue from back when changes were made to make the forums HTTPS/SSL if I recall and it is due to the roller not having that capability at this time. I believe it was more of an undertaking to correct from the last I can recall. Basically the work around to have them show up in the forums is to go to the url up in your browser address bar and remove the s in HTTPS for the page and that usually gets them to show up.

Let us know if this doesn't work.
