OOC: out of character comments and questions).
Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
Question for yall: How does time work here vis a vis the calendar and for lodging/rationing purposes?
Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
So you arrived in Helix on July 12th 1066 (see tavern thread posts).
If you stay in the village you need to deduct 'upkeep' at a standard of choice and for however many nights as detailed in the first page of the tavern thread.
So as you did with Bollo, you deduct at time of posting, whatever upkeep costs you order.

Am I the only one concerned about the last couple weeks of inaction here.
Sure hope everything's okay with you, Spearmint!

i was wondering the same thing....

No, indeed not as in real life we deal with my mother in law's sad passing recently. Although she had been ill, her death was unexpected with complications from a stomach ulcer perforation and at 88 yrs, she did not regain consciousness after surgery. So it was a case of surgeons inducing a coma and bringing her children to come and say last goodbyes and then funeral arrangements and other practical stuff; house clearance & sale, the Will, rehousing her dogs (not here thankfully).indeed - hope all is well!
I am back home after the funeral but with her birthday being on the 8th and Mother's Day on the 10th of March, I still expect a few emotional moments from the wife, so "honey, I going gaming" is not too considerate.
But I will crack on this evening with some of the edited drafts.

My condolences to you SM and your wife & family.

Really sorry to hear that and thoughts are with you and your family. That’s quite a lot on your plate there, so take all the time you need. We will all be here when you’re up for it.

Our sympathies to you and your wife.
We just went through a death in the family ourselves, and it's never easy.
Take all the time you need to grieve and heal.

My sympathies to your family. Even at 88, death can be sudden and is always painful.

Spearmint, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I lost my dear mother several years ago as well. It is the hardest loss I've ever had in my life so please extend my condolences to your wife and family.
