Using the most applicable optics (he has a set of magnigoggles, if that helps), Rick scans the entire cavern looking for anything out of the ordinary.

Are the explorers capable of continuing on? If so, can they handle the terrain in the cavern?

Also does it appear to be the same material as the wall?
The rock appears to be the same material as the overhead material. The thickness is fairly thin, maybe 2 meters thick overall.

Rick Intuition [1d100]=36 At first, Rick sees little out of the ordinary, then he sees that the entire cavern is very smooth. No irregularities like you would find in a cave.

The explorers are good to traverse the interior with ease. As you are asking this, you see the lead explorer start forward at reduced speed.

Rick will point out the seeming anomaly of the smooth cavern to others around him asking if they think it looks odd.

"Interesting," Daz comments as she pays closer attention to the cavern's surface. "Maybe this isn't a natural cavern after all?" Daz will look for any signs, markings, or other details that might identify more about its purpose or design.

Once she notices the lead vehicle moving forward, Daz will keep pace. Over the radio, she'll contact the lead driver, "Daz here, what's the plan now? Over."

t'prin will follow daz's lead and keep pace with the lead vehicle on the opposite side, watching ahead of the vehicle for any signs of the floor giving way under the vehicle.

AS you are driving into the cavern further, one of the scientists calls over the radio and says that his toxy-rad gauge is registering radioactivity in this cavern. Not at dangerous levels, but he says he wouldn't want to put up a house here.

Your toxyrad gauge confirms the level of radiation is low, but present.

After a few more hours of travel in the strange cavern, you are starting to see the cavern walls turning to normal, with uneven rock protrusions.

Rick will keep the others updated on readings from his Toxyrad Gauge. He will continue to keep watch behind the gun of the lead explorer.

You saw no openings anywhere within visual sight, however, you do see an entrance coming up ahead of you. It looks like a natural formation, but then when you close to 100 meters, you see that the entrance is artificial.

Daz Intuition roll [1d100]=44
Rick's Intuition check [1d100]=99
T'prin Intuition roll [1d100]=92

Daz, you see structures ahead in the headlight beams. They appear to be humanoid sized. T'prin and Rick, you notice that each others hair is nicely combed!

T'prin will signal for the vehicle to hold position here while he continues forward to investigate the buildings.
