Siouxsie
Don't we have lanterns and torches?
She has one, so fill it with oil and strikes a light.

Androgst proposes a halt for the evening. "I don't like it, but if we wander in with lights ablaze everyone will see us coming before we see them. And we don't know if they have an open invitation..."

In the Jotens - Dusk
Starday, 15th day of Planting, 597
10th day since leaving Loftwick
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 53/63)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 54/65, Armor 26/26)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 53/53)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 47/48)
Garrant (AC 8, HP 46/50)
Hex (AC 0, HP 25/27, Armor 8/8)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8)
Boff (AC 5, HP 58/61)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 26/26)
There seems to be some differences of opinion
Nah Olos "Given the earthquake, i say press on, at least for a bit, but i can't speak for those of you who can't see in the dark. I don't think we should light torches."
Hex, Qleceec, Siouxsie and Garrant say either camp or move with light (and various light sources are shown).
Androgost votes that the team should camp not wanting to walk around with light in the open.
Boff is quiet after the earthquake and does not show his continual light lantern and does not offer an opinion.
Need some help to pull a direction here.

We have camped enough and need to press on in my thoughts. So walk, through the night if neccessary, camping has the same risks as trekking.

Qleceec
I am fine with trekking, as long as we use something so that the humans can see where they are going.

Androgost stands and makes ready. “So be it. We press forward. Let us do so smartly. Let’s keep light in reserve until absolutely needed. Let those with advanced sight lead our way.”

"To be clear here, I am not worried about getting lost. I am worried about stepping in a hole and breaking my leg or getting my eye taken out by a tree branch. I have seen those and more happen moving around in a dark forest with no lights."
What is the moon phase? A high in the sky full moon (with snow on the ground is even better) is doable. A new moon or the moon setting early or rising late is very dark.

Luna is a waning crescent and Celene (the smaller moon) is warning quarter.

Qleceec
Taking the middle of the range for Waning crescent lets say 20% illumination for the larger moon. Quarter moons are seen at about 50% illumination so lets say 50% for the smaller moon. With a clear sky and the moon up high (position in the sky of our moon varies greatly) we might have enough illumination to move very very slowly with no lights.
Does Qleceec think it is safe or not?

Given that it has been raining, there are not clear skies. As an experienced hiker it would be possible, but I would not recommend it and like you said the pace would be slow.

In the Jotens - Second Watch
Starday, 15th day of Planting, 597
10th day since leaving Loftwick
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 53/63)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 54/65, Armor 26/26)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 53/53)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 47/48)
Garrant (AC 8, HP 46/50)
Hex (AC 0, HP 25/27, Armor 8/8)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8)
Boff (AC 5, HP 58/61)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 26/26)
After some further discussion, so group decides to camp just off the road in the current location and to not trek into the night. The sun is setting and group is really just camping off the side of the road, but there are at least two trees that define the area the party is resting. Just a reminder, the spell casting types are at FULL spells going into the night.
The moons give off there limited light and there is not other immediate impact from the earthquake. The first watch passes without event, the second watch which is Qleceec, Nah Olos, and Raffi I would ask the three players to make a d100 roll for me while the other characters are sleeping.

A deep voice from the darkness (roughly from the NWW) is heard by the three members and it says, "Am you are a friend or enemies the taking dwarves this am the through road? Our am eee... ouch . . Speak my currently!"
By best estimates the voice is at least 90' away and is carrying no light source that any of the three party members can see. As of this moment the other party members are still sleeping.

Qleceec wakes up Androgost and Garrant. Both will get to start the next round awake.
Nah Olos draws his sword and moves 30' towards the voice.
Raffi is unsure what to do.
From the area of the voice, there is a single word
"Answer!" and a large rock appears to fall from the sky landing in the fire. This causes some of the embers to fly and land on the sleeping gear of Garrant and Boff and a small fire is started (This will take an action of someone to save the gear and not have the fire spread). This noise is loud enough that everyone except Frannie is raised to the level of awake (and can act next round)
