"I think we should stay another day, we are still in rough shape. We have food, water, and shelter here. Any reason we should rush off?"

Akhilleus
"So, we can go investigate the river bank and then take a break back in the matron's hut before we go back to town to rest, resupply and sell our loot. Is that fine by you?

He nods in agreement with Akhilleus. "Yes, let's scout ahead and then decide what to do. We don't have to conquer everything in one attempt."
"I think to the north was where the dwarfs pointed. Let's head that way."

Xenos
"Seems reasonable to me."
Spells updated and ready to go.

Cyril
spells reset; anybody need healing?
“That frog is a strange one. I wonder…”
Cyril gestures at the frog…and mutters a short sharp word in a guttural language.
Casting detect magic toward the frog in the main room of the cabin and then pivoting in place detecting any magic items within 60 feet

Xenos could do with some healing, as long as we've still got some left after.

I agree with moving on. We will just have to be careful and heal as we can. Sitting one place too long can lead to problems.

Cyril walks over to Xenos and smiles as he puts his hand on the man’s head.
“Hold still. You still look like you are missing some of your usual energy.”
He mutters a few words over Xenos…

"Thanks Cyril... I think." he smiles, but looks a little unsure.

Under The Zakath Desert
Friendly Froggy
No Idea On Time Or Day
Cyril heals Xenos in his usual disturbing fashion before casting a magical detection and looking about the well searched mushroom hut. The frisky frog does indeed glow with a magical aura, but he finds no other detections that haven't already been discovered. As far as writings etc. goes, there is still a list of unidentified items and spells in the XP thread that were never sorted.
The group agrees to move on instead of sitting around even longer, the frog in question sticking very close to Belloc. As the party is about to depart, the frog lets out what can only be described as an audible sigh before trying to hop up from Bellocs shoulder to the tip of his staff. It misses the mark and lands awkwardly on the floor of the hut instead.
Crestos is looking a might jealous of all the attention this new animal has garnered recently, letting out a hawkish screech that rings through the dark underground chamber.

Xenos lifts up the frog and puts it on his shoulder.
"Best we don't upset that bird of yours too much."

The druid approaches Xenos and says, "Let's see if this little guy has something to tell us."
She rummages in her pack and pulls out a new piece of bark, one she has inscribed runes upon. With a prayer to Yoon'Deh, she casts Speak With Animals.

"It looks like the frog was trying to touch the tip of your stuff. What happens if you do it? Maybe it really turns into a person." Says the warrior, insisting on his theory that the frog is actually a polymorphed human.
"By the way. There's a bunch of objects we still don't know what magics they have in store. Any chance to know what they do? I'm not the magical type, so I can't helpnwith that."

Cyril makes sure to flash his magic detection upon a few of the miscellaneous items that the party have found:
From the Dwarf Caves:
From the Matron:
- Iron Toad Idol
- amulet made of withered flesh and twisted herbs
- Bronze Censer
- shell shaped driftwood castanets
- doll of a dwarf with long iron pin

Sik stands aside while the sorcerers cast, wary of the presence of such witchcraft, even in the hands of allies.

I would like to wait for a response to this one, if Belkregos would be so kind.

OOC: sorry about the delay
Belloc contemplates for a minute thinking its not the best idea, the staff is a gateway and hes been trying to hold back the entities from establishing a foothold on this side however the frog is proof their influence is already further along that he thought, he needs to know
he nods
and inclines the tip of the staff to the frog allowing it to hop on it
