It is backwards, but otherwise pretty good.
In Boot Hill, like wargames of the era, movement goes first but you get to call targets back to where you can shoot them. So you will be able to take your shots at 5.

You mean left vs. right? That doesn't actually matter, does it?
Has Clay moved yet? Is he still at range 5?

Only if you want it accurate! I would think if you want a tool to help envision something you wouldn't want it backwards.

That is better. My OCD is satisfied.
Yeah Jube reeked havoc which started a domino effect. Plus out of 10 possible hits Clay only landed one wound with the scattergun.

BTW, how did Hezekiah end up with such a high speed number?

Two one in a million shots back to back. Something must be effecting the randomizer. Are you seeing that in any other games?

They aren't given full stats but he has a +25 base speed so off hand I would guess he rolled a 99 greased lightning speed and then improved bravery through experience to 91.
Buckshot Blume was Brian Blume's PC. He has, well had, a +26 base speed. I think he is given full stats somewhere I will have to look. It isn't in the 2e rulebook.

Oh, wait. This one is my fault. I thought I rolled three times, but I only rolled twice and posted the second again. I'll go fix that.

I’m a little confused as to where exactly Jeff is, can Stumpy see him from his position by the outhouse?

Nope! Mose, Jeff and Bob are the only combatants with a clue about what is going on behind the Blacksmith's shop. With all the shots being fired it is doubtful anyone even heard the one go off back there. Mose jumped behind cover at the corner of the General Store while Jeff came around the rabbit brush. So everything is completely out of sight.

I shot at Skins, I didn't know if Stumpy knew his name or not. If Stumpy wouldn't have been able to see him please let me know and I'll change the target to Frank.

My all powerful line-of-sight indicator, an envelope held up to the map on my computer screen says... You have line of sight.

Just from the descriptions of where combatants are. Stumpy is at the outhouse. Its door is facing back towards town so he is probably there. Skins is in the door of Babe's. You can draw a straight line between the doors.

Re: The Brandin' Iron Saloon - Out of Character
Please do!
Not at all a record. It would be amazing to have a gunfight of that size and not have at least one PC die. Several years ago I had a player, just as the game started, follow a mysterious horseman into a back alley, challenge him, die by lead, roll up another character, charge into the back alley and get the second one fatally shot by the same NPC. It really isn't if your character is going to die, it is how long will he last. At least they are easy to create. Though you did have the first character die with the luck save rule in effect.
