I generally make initiative rolls for the players, adding (or subtracting) adjustments wherever necessary. I don't always write up the outcome of a round exactly according the order. If it relates better to the flow of the story to have things moved around a little, that's what I do.

If you would prefer to make your own rolls, that is ok with me. Just give me a d10 roll with your action posts. Otherwise, I don't mind doing it for everyone, since I don't post the rolls anyway. :D

OK. I'm good with you doing it. I'll skip it from here on out.

Rex, since you are only down 3 hp, I'm going to hold off on the healing. Only have a couple for the whole party & want to make em count.

Ok, looks like we have some in favor of trying a black door (besides the ambush door) and some in favor of the closet door with the giggling emanating from it. Sprig is happy to do whatever. Anybody else have strong feelings one way or the other? We could go out, turn right and go through the black door at the end of the hall, which would result in: something happening besides being in this room. All in favor say "aye."

Aye.

Also, the posting rate has dropped to a veritable snail's pace. What, is is finals week or something? :)

(Actually, is it?)

I don't know nuthin about no finals, but I will take the blame for the slower post rate.

I was on vacation for the last couple weeks and came home to a bit of a situation.

All that is cleared up now and I will start being more vigilant about the two posts a week rate that I would like to keep up in this game. I am happy to go faster, but not at the risk of loosing any players because of it.

Luna hasn't logged onto the US in over two weeks, so I'm not sure what happened with that.

I'm in favor of opening any regular doors before trying a portal. But I'm a completionist. :D

Mac will go along with the group, quite content to experience new things.

I have no issue with opening one of the doors.

It actually is finals week for me so I apologize for not posting as frequently as I did before

Also at this point perhaps someone should just walk through one of the portals and see what happens because all of us standing around contemplating where to go is just inviting a wandering monster check.

Mac looks around. "Those of us on this side would wait, say one minute, for your return."
As much as I love this idea...... :D

Since there is some degree of danger involved with this action, all players should feel free to say no to this request.

However, since we seem to have one errant PC, if nobody else wants to try this, I will allow Mac to convince Pumfrey to do it, being the sneaky thief and inquisitive halfling that he is.

Not a problem and congratulations on your graduation! :D

Just an FYI.... (I'm never sure if you can tell by my narration or not)

The thug attacking the trio has nearly had it. The one on Fin seems to have a bit more left in the tank.

OM: Could I back out of combat & cast a healing spell on Fin in this round? Although just in case he comes after me: then I would attack, but then Elitir would then get a rear attack, right? Or would Elitir be able to keep this from happening by staying engaged with him?

Guys, if the dice aren't kind to us this round, we are dead meat. Was really hoping we would drop the one I hit last round.

If Elitir sees Zefarrel trying to back out she will shove her shield in between them and take the beserkers free attack if need be to free up the cleric. let me know if you want me to edit my post.

If more than one person is engaged with a single enemy, there are no attacks of opportunity allowed if one of them withdraws as the enemy would still be engaged by the other(s).

So, yes it is possible for Zefarrel, the only person who can actually injure this guy, to step away from the battle safely. :D
