I assume I'm nowhere near first in the action order, what with the tree chopping and the surprise legworms, but I'd love to start swinging at the ones on the ground whenever possible.

Jack watches from a safe distance then his eyes open wide briefly as the spore cloud emerges from the large mushroom "Well at least it aint bees." he thinks out loud.

The three worm swarms continue to attack the cybernetic bear. She stomps and tracks from side to side to avoid the slimy, stringy wave action of the thin, two foot long worms. A dusty mist continues to dwell around the downed mushroom, and May-Jor's “dance” creates eddy currents in the cloud.

The monsters have had their turn, all others may act. Blixx is 10 feet from May-Jor, and everyone else is 30-40 feet back from the edge of the grove.

Belial

With a bark of anger, Belial lopes in to help Robo-Bear. He'll slash at the worms with his assegai, taking advantage of the fact that it has a sword-like blade.

att [1d20+1] = 4+1 = 5

...and misses, miserably.

Jack remains where he is and doesn't take any actions for fear of hitting one of his fellow travelers. He does take out his crossbow however should the worms wriggle towards him.

Silverstri calls out to the bear "May-Jor back up away from the mushroom and the spore cloud if you can, hopefully you move quicker than those worms do"

He gets his bow ready, hoping an easier target will present itself.

Denslow will attack with a non-explosive fruit if he can get one in!

Round 2 …

Belial leaps to the attack, swinging and slashing at the worm mass undilating around May-Jor’s feet (miss). As the flying baboon flails at the mushroom slimers, his increased sense of smell becomes a detriment and he inhales some of the spores floating in the air around the downed fungal tree.

Belial fortitude save (Fail):
Belial Fort. = [1d20+1] = 3+1 = 4

The mutant primate sways to the side and then stumbles forward, digging face first into the ground. His body rolls on its side, both wings slump into a flaccid mass, his mouth gaping for air.

Denslow picks one of his inert growths and hurls a fruit bullet at the writhing mass of noodle-like fungus around the cybernetic bear’s feet. The mutant tree’s gamble pays off (hit) and his missile strikes a cluster of worms (3 dmg), making a ‘splat’ sound and shooting pieces of matter in all directions.

The worms continue to mass around May-Jor’s feet.

May-Jor, Belial and Denslow have acted this round. Belial is now unconscious.

Someone help me get Belial out of there before those worms get to him

Assuming he gets help, he will be vary wary of the spore cloud, holding his breath if he needs to as they try to move Belial.

Jack slings the crossbow and tries to assist in getting Belial out of the mass of worms.

Frekken will run with the others to try and help retrieve Belial...
