Sanu eventually gets to his feet and stands there for a minute with hands on knees, shaking off the queasiness and dizziness. He looks over at the slain knight that all but took his life, and goes and stands over him. He mumbles a rare prayer, looks around at everything in the world, and appreciates that he is the one still standing.

He locates his battle axe, fishes it out of the muck, and kisses it...never again.

He finds Baruch and thanks him for healing him out of the darkness. Good magic, I guess.

Baruch to prisoner: "tell me who you work for! tell me the agenda you and these men have!"
I work for "They", an intelligence apparatus. I am a triple agent spying for King Merit, Shogun Aichi Yamada, and the Iron Barron, Ferrum Mucro.

I am a forward observer, reporting on King Merit's military progress.

I rode with an advance scout team making observations for the coming invasion of Currus.

The man in civilian clothes then grimaces and spits at Baruch -- the spell wearing off.

Calen does not speak out at all during the interrogation, allowing the others to use that time that he does not see as important. Instead he will check the slight wounds that he got from the knight, wishing the fight was more of a challenge....

Garrett I hope that is the right character for this  will avoid the interrogation and just hang out near the wagon and he will get back up on his horse.

Svent stays on his horse and also avoids the interrogation.

Does Calen want to try on the knight's plate mail? He had the honors of taking him down, so I thought I would give him first shot at it.

Being the party tank (I am right?) I guess he will.

Calen then takes a look at the dead mans armor, checking to see how damaged it is since the knight will no longer have any need of it.

What are we doing about that warhorse and the captured ones? Minus the two that the woman took...

Baruch, to the prisoner: "We already have a shower at home, mate!" and wipes his face on the man's tunic

Baruch, to the others: "Oh ye of military intelligence, I hope you took notes. I didn't!"

Calen looks up at Baruch briefly, for once his actual military experience showing through...slightly... "Man is a spy for a few different people but answers to Merit, they are invading Currus soon, probably within a couple weeks. It isn't important to our mission."

Garrett "Not important to our mission though very relevant to the Queen. Somehow I think it wise we somehow get word back to her about this. Perhaps even let her men deal with these spies. Then we an be on our way."

Montego agrees with Garrett. We can't just leave these men here. What if someone comes by and releases them? They lied to us so they will do what they can to escape. I think they need to be dealt with now.

Forgive me, but that sounds like two separate things. Agreeing with Garrett, or dealing with them now. Which is it that you are inclined to?

Personally, I say we kill them or leave them here.

Garrett "Those of you that are the Queen's men can deal with them now and save the trouble of trying to get them back to her. I still think she needs to be informed though. A shame I did not tell the woman to relay what happened here to the Queens men.... or have her wait until we found out this little bit of information of the attack."

Calen hefts his halberd up, "We can kill him." He gives the captured spy a look that seems to make his eyes gleam through the helmet slots.

Montego shouts its 2 women with a frickin BABY! How far could they have gotten?

He then jumps on his horse in hot pursuit of these new friends of ours. They are still in visual range I presume?
They can bring the bound men in and give the Queen our message right?

Calen watches Montego ride in pursuit of the women, "That works." and knowing that the group would not agree with them just leaving Montego and continuing on as well as not wanting to start another unnecessary argument, Calen sits on a nearby large rock, cleaning his halberd and inspecting that knights plate mail.

Works for me as well. Titus will inspect the knight's warhorse, which may be a better mount than his own.

Garrett looks over the items taken from the fake soldiers that was gathered into their wagon/cart
On the soldiers, the party collects another 110 gold. 2 long bows, 37 arrows, 2 two handed swords, 2 long swords, 3 battle axes, 6 daggers, 2 leather armor and 5 suits of chain mail.

The knight carries 50 gp.. He wore plate mail, carried a shield with Regenia's standard, a lance, and left behind a bastard sword of unusual quality.

Gold total, 260 gp.
Image
Unlike the gold given to the party by the queen, this money has Merit's image on one side and a lotus blossom on the other.

The party now has a medium war horse and 9 draft horses to think about.
He only takes 2 more daggers to give him more to throw, a long bow and 12 arrows and leaves the rest for the others to either use or sell later on.

Mop Up!

The captures soldiers are still bug eyed about what came out of the civilian's mouth. They look at each other wide eyed and murmur about "The Iron Barron" and "Shogun Yamada". They are in disbelief. The man in civilian cloths is sick with himself. The soldiers are sick with him as well. The only thing more disgusting than a double agent is a triple agent.

Montego easily reaches the women who ride back with the ranger. They are eager to help those who saved them.

Calen
finds the plate mail a good fit. The armor is in good condition. He scored an upgrade.

Titus
looks over the war horse. It is a strong and healthy 5 year old mare. She could be fitted with armor if the opportunity arose.
will place data in "horse" thread.
Garrett picks through some of the items captured from the bad guys.

Actions!

Note: as you guys take items from the list as Garret is doing above, I assume they go on your sheet and I remove them from the party inventory. Note too, Garrett has the only bastard sword prof, lucky guy. Don't forget bsword of quality
