Iluq follows Roberts example and gets out of the rain, motioning for the rest of the group to follow him in as they decide which action to take.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Though the paladin feels the rain is refreshing, Vorkath steps into the stairwell to continue the discussion.
Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Agrippo is in the south tower and will venture a little way down the stairwell to the door we previously passed, kicking it in..."no time for pussy footing around, Ireena is not on the other side unless she flew there and this Strahd will be having his way with her soon unless we get to the chase."
Agrippo sees no sense in splitting up and searching two towers at once, crossing the bridge seems a last resort and the wraiths may well have returned to their lair, licking their wounds. "lets' press on this way"he will shout up the stairs, expecting the others to follow and not dither in the rain.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
At the mention of Ireena be accosted by such an evil entity Iluq's face becomes grim, "I will not allow that to happen as long as I draw breath." he then heads to Agrippo.

Robert says nothing but heads down after Agrippo.

Vorkath, paladin
Before the others leave:
"We will not defeat Strahd with brute force or traditional magics," warns Vorkath. "The possible weapon of light is within reach. Best to get it now and be in a position of strength to face Strahd and his minions, and rescue Ireena."
"Ireena will not be killed, or else she would have been earlier. Our strategic direction is clear Agrippo. If you want to search the tower, let me borrow your ring and I'll go myself."

Weather: Thunderstorm
Moon: Full
Location: Castle Ravenloft, South Tower Stairs

You step back into the shelter of the south tower stairs while you decide your next move.
Ireena has been missing for an hour now. Her uncertain fate weighs heavily on your minds. "Strahd will be having his way with her soon unless we get to the chase," says Agrippo.
"I will not allow that to happen as long as I draw breath," vows Iluq in response.
Vorkath asserts his conviction that she is alive. "Ireena will not be killed," he says, "or else she would have been earlier."
Agrippo cuts the debate short. "No time for pussy footing around," he declares. The bold Legionnaire descends to the first door below the roof. Robert and Tibbius follow silently. Agrippo, man of action, kicks in the door! Beyond the door is a 20-foot square room with a low ceiling. Torn and broken couches lie in heaps, haphazardly strewn about the room. Deep claw marks cover the hardwood furniture. Claw marks have also sliced the once lush upholstery to shreds. From the dark shadows amid the rubble, Agrippo can see three pairs of green eyes stare back at him. Randolph Cat lowers his tail, crouches behind the door, and lets out a low growl.
Vorkath will not be so easily led astray from the "weapon of light" told of in the old gypsy's reading. "We will not defeat Strahd with brute force or traditional magics," warns the Sword of the True God. "The possible weapon of light is within reach. Best to get it now and be in a position of strength to face Strahd and his minions, and rescue Ireena. Our strategic direction is clear," he tells Agrippo. "If you want to search the tower, let me borrow your ring and I'll go myself."

Iluq readies his two hammers, "We can discuss going after the light in a moment, for now there is evil to be vanquished my friend."

Robert readies his sword but fears something is very wrong "I have a gut feeling this is a werewolf or some other powerful creature."

Vorkath, paladin
The Faith Hunter shakes his head and wonders how the team got as far as they have as adventurers. He watches them turn away from a possible weapon that will enable defeat of Strahd. He follows up in the back.

Tumbler stops following the group and grabs Vorkath by the arm. I'm with ye', we need that weapon in the other tower. We are all just fresh meat to the evil in this place. I dont wanna see those wraiths again if we go this way. What say we head across and try not to get killed?

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Robert retreats back up the stairs to Vorkath and Tumbler. Not being the leader type he really did not want to go back down and storm through the castle nor did he want to walk the tower stair again. If he spots the two he will speak to them "I do agree we need the weapon in that tower. I two did not want to face the creatures down here in the castle with out it. The problem is I am limited in what I can do in such an environment."

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Vorkath, paladin
"Agrippo, back to us on the path to the weapon!" says Vorkath. The Spartan's ring would be helpful. "Conserve our strength, leave that creature be."
To the others: "We have means of levitation and flying by potion. We could go in pairs, up and around the halberds Tumbler saw. I am like you hesitant to utilize our precious magic, but our mad dash up here has brought us quickly to the possible weapon of light. An item of such import calls for magic."
Vorkath holds his hands up, admitting that while occasionally wrong, he is never uncertain. "I am only conjecturing all this based on Eva's tarot reading. It may not be the weapon, but I think it is."

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Iluq hesitates, wanting to be with the group so that everyone may survive this place and not wanting to leave his companions side to face the creature alone, he will wait for Agrippos decision, whether they take the beast together or move back towards the others.

The eyes in the dark watch you warily, but nothing jumps out of the shadows...yet. You discuss your next move.
Vorkath again urges the party to return to the tower in search of the weapon of which Madam Eva foretold. "Conserve our strength," he tells Agrippo. "Leave that creature be." The holy warrior argues that the party should use whatever magical resources it has to recover the weapon.
"I'm with ye'," Tumbler tells Vorkath. "We need that weapon in the other tower. What say we head across and try not to get killed?"
Robert and Tibbius agree. Iluq hesitates and waits for Agrippo's decision. Agrippo offers no objection and makes no move to attack whatever is in the room.
Consensus apparently reached, you carefully close the door and head back up the stairs you just descended. You step back out into the storm, stopping just short of the bridge leading to the north tower.
The north tower awaits!

Vorkath, thinking, acknowledges Robert's question but holds on the answer as he calculates something.
