The party can decide how they wish to carry out this ambush.

Go ahead and give me your actions and I will roll to see if you surprise them.

Aicanar warns the rest of the party with a quick, low whistle. If anyone looks up, he'll pantomime the approaching goblins carrying their log.

Patrus takes cover and waits until he can strike the approaching goblins off guard. If he hears Aicanar shooting he will move and attack even if his position isn't optimal.

the four goblins are utterly surprised.

Aicanar arrow goes though the throat of one, Othmar spear guts another, and Patrus beheads the third goblin.

Of course, this leaves one poor goblin holding the log, suddenly with three of his buddies dead, and not helping him support the weight of the log. He is not the strongest goblin, and he collapses with the log on top of him, trapped.

"SIZTAZZZ" looking around, and his buddies head rolls by he closes his eyes and goes "Mercy! Yield! Yield! " is a raspy common.
