Kaltar steps in and swings again:
Mace Action To Hit [1d20] = 12 Dam [1d6+1] = 4+1 = 5
"Help here please Strom, Aric" he calls back over his shoulder

The beasts act quickly. The trog to
Strom's left
manages fails to sneak past the his defenses
(-4) but and the paladin is also able to deflect away the javelin coming at him straight on.
Aric, too, feels the sting of a javelin tip as it catches his flesh (-5) manages to escape harm as well, and the knight and barbarian
, their sense of urgency intensified by their latest scrapes, deal death blows to their intended targets and suddenly find themselves outnumbering the foul smelling swamp creatures.
Sweat continues to bead on
Strom's forehead as he becomes feverish and begins to feel like a boiling egg inside his metal armor.
---
In the side conflict,
Kaltar and his troglodyte opponent again exchange ineffective blows.
"Help here please Strom, Aric!" he calls back over his shoulder.

Aric as 5 HP.
These trog javelins, they do 2d4 instead of the listed 1d6? Strom what HP are you at? Magic users fire those spells, like last round! Morale check for lone trog? Do you do rule where you can parry for your action, applying attack bonuses as minuses for opponent?

init [1d10] = 7 hold atk [1d20+3] = 4+3 = 7 [1d4+1] = 2+1 = 3
Shannigans again waits to see if one of the lines fails, ready to run and attack either direction.

Sorry for all the questions, but I've been next To Strom I assume within 10' as stated early on. Do I fall within his Prot. From Evil and the -2 evil Monsters such as trog would have against us? I normally wouldn't be so rulesy but I'm one hit away from a possible death. If I am in the paladin range, that last blow wouldn't have hit me. Thanks.
Oh, I was looking at javs in your weapon list.

I understand what the monsters are going to do, and why, and will make any checks as necessary.
Grognardsw wrote:Do you do rule where you can parry for your action, applying attack bonuses as minuses for opponent?
Yes, I do allow parrying, ruling by-the-book, with the pertinent information copied below:
Player's Handbook > Chapter 9: Combat > Parrying > Parrying (Optional Rule)
"In order to make himself harder to hit, a character can parry--forfeit all actions for the round--he can't attack, move, or cast spells. This frees the character to concentrate solely on defense.... A warrior gets a bonus equal to half his level plus one. A 6th-level fighter would gain a +4 AC bonus."
With Aric being first level, his AC bonus would lowered by 1.

Actually, you're (partially) right. You are within 10 feet of Strom and would benefit from the protection from evil ability, but the penalty is only -1, not -2, per:
Player's Handbook > Chapter 3: Player Character Classes > Class Descriptions > Warrior > Paladin > Paladin
"A paladin is surrounded by an aura of protection with a 10-foot radius. Within this radius, all summoned and specifically evil creatures suffer a -1 penalty to their attack rolls, regardless of whom they attack."
In any event, the last attack against you would have missed so I will reverse out that damage. Though, technically, I'm not sure if you should be able to even use a buckler shield if you're using your sword two-handed (I'm pretty sure a shield can't be used with an actual two-handed sword: "A fighter wielding a two-handed sword cannot use a shield.") which would negate that -1 penalty, but I'll let it stand and adjust my macros accordingly.

That is totally fine. I have no problem clicking a link if I'm interested in seeing a result.

Other then what I stated before hand, I'm not really sure as to what my character can do right now. Kaltar is dealing with one swamp beast, Aric and Strom are dealing with one. Heaven forbid I should get in any of there ways to cast a spell. I might just very well paint a target on my back saying "strike here with weapon" if that is going to be the case. Now.... if Kaltar were to retreat back a bit, I could fire off another burning hands spell, allowing him a round to regain some hitpoints with his healing magic. The area where Shannigans and the other melee oriented fighers are is a bit too crowded as is for my chef to slip in.
Am I overthinking this and missing something pretty obvious?

I think that may well be directed more towards the fighter/melee types rather than you Ru!
Kaltar, determined to end this fight to get some much needed healing organised, dodges and weaves and then whips his mace round suddenly....
Mace Action To Hit [1d20] = 18 Dam [1d6+1] = 1+1 = 2
...but only manages a glancing blow...

The lone troglodyte realizes the odds are now stacked against it, but the protective mother remains determined to fight to the death. Keeping its focus on
Strom, she manages to skewer the paladin
(-4) before being struck down by
Aric (+20xp).
Moments later,
Strom topples over himself.
---
Off to the side,
Kaltar whips his mace around and catches his troglodyte opponent, disrupting the beast enough to cause its retaliatory strike to miss the cleric.

Aric glares about for more lizard monsters…(
action options follow)
1) …Seeing more approach, the barbarian girds for attack while calling for the others to take action. He’ll charge the nearest trog, slicing low to take out the lizard’s legs at the knees.
B. sword charging +2 [1d20+5] = 11+5 = 16 Damage [2d8+4] = 3+4 = 7
2) …If the barbarian realizes there is battle back and around the corner, and if he can get there past Shan, Fimmion and Kaltar in the hallway, he’ll do so. A savage silent charge and 15’ leap upon the trog, bringing his sword straight down into the creature’s jaw.
B. sword charging +2 [1d20+5] = 5+5 = 10 Damage [2d8+4] = 11+4 = 15
3) …Seeing none, the barbarian attends to the injured Strom by applying his natural first aid skills (
1 HP), using water to clean the wounds, apply medicinal herbs, and bind them with cloth torn from Strom or Aric’s own cloak. He then treats himself in similar fashion (
1 HP).

A quick note:
You get one attack per round. If you're going to lay out conditional responses like you did, which is great, you still only get a single attack roll (not one per conditional action), so only your first attack roll (which you listed second) will count: "B. sword charging +2 [1d20+5] = 5+5 = 10 Damage [2d8+4] = 11+4 = 15"

Oh no. The paladin is going into sweats too. We gotta get him to a clean rest area, He says he needs water. He is too heavy for me. Somebody...... Shannigans will wipe the forehead, neck and face of the man, but will look to the others to help get him out.
