I don't know and given Bloodaxe did all rolls with real dice (as I will continue to do), there wasn't a need to use one. You can have your Unseen Servant character sheet without an associated campaign.

Marching order, updated from the old. Acceptable?

Single file:

1. Niles - fighter
2. Foracor (NPC) - elf MU/F
3. Fingal - thief
4. Bayard - cleric
5. Boddin - hobbit
6. Luna - elf MU/F
7. Albertus - cleric

Double file:

1. Niles - Foracor (NPC)
2. Fingal - Bayard
3. Boddin - Luna
4. Albertus

Is it a bit ridiculous for me to think that that the Labyrinth Lord halfling pretty much stinks? It's basically a fighter with worse hit points in exchange for a boost to hiding (which is rarely useful), a bonus to missile weapons (which is only really useful if you can keep the rest of the party out of melee), and a +1 to initiative if alone or in a party only of halflings (like that ever happens).

Elves get spells. Dwarves get magic resistance and fighter-like HP. But I'm starting to wonder why anyone would choose to play a halfling in a typical campaign.

If I were house-ruling this, I'd give halflings a subset of thief skills the way elves get some MU skills.

You cant compare the Halfling to an Elf. An Elf pays double the XP to raise a level. Halflings have the same saving throws as Dwarves.
(Basic LL ) Halflings also get a +2AC vs creatures larger than man-sized. ( a lot - Bugbears, Ogres, etc, etc)
But I do actually agree with you- Halflings are pretty weak. I have a house rule that Halflings get " Luck" , an idea from The hobbit & LOTR.

To reflect the assassin bug battle, your overall successful wilderness and tower explorations from start to this point, and move the campaign forward a notch, there is a chunk of XP rewarded. Those here since day one may gain a level, others are close. Percentage bonuses for high ability scores are already counted in these figures.

Niles: +900, totaling 1550, close to level two but fighters progress slower
Albertus: +1,000, totaling 1650, level 2, additional 3 HP, get another 1st level spell slot
Bayard: +950, totaling 1665, level 2, additional 5 HP, get another 1st level spell slot
Fingal: +950, totaling 1633, level 2, additional 3 HP, improvement in thief skills
Boddin: +700, totaling 1300, came in later to campaign
Luna: +400, totaling 700, came in later to campaign

XP will continue to be rewarded for “role playing” type posts and more frequent postings.

What is feedback thus far on the campaign? Want more or less of a certain thing? Do you want to take over rolling your own dice, or leave as is?

Do the additional HP include Con bonuses?

I prefer rolling my own dice, but I'm good either way.

Enjoying the campaign quite a bit, so far. Nothing really I would say to add in particular. Great job!

Yes, Con is included. We'll see what others say on dice rolling. Thanks.

I need to apologize to everyone. I have been very sporatic on keeping up with this game. its not fair to the rest of you. I am having marital issues and while I don't need to air out my laundry here, I am distracted by life. let me know if its ok to keep being sporatic.

again im sorry.
