Did we ever come to any conclusion about whether or not you could use the Heal skill to heal yourself?

If I can't, then Semele will patch up Marodin.
Not sure who will be patching up Thordin, but he will need First Aid as well (Thordin took 4hp damage). Thordin and Marodin were the only ones injured in this fight.

TK, could we get a description of this room? It was initially described as a 'richly appointed bedchamber' - what kind of furniture is here, and are there any other obvious exits to this room?

So a First Aid kit is spent after one use?

TK, if there is any way we could hold off on implementing the "kit" rule until we get back to civilization and have the chance to buy them, that would be appreciated. I've always maintained that Lanny has carried a first aid kit in his backpack, but he has certainly gotten ample use out of that one kit!

Lanny's suggestion for a plan of action:

1. Ascend the stairs as far as possible (this assumes the stairs are made of stone and still intact).
2. Uncover most (but not all) of the debris from the arcane symbol (but not standing on it or touching it except perhaps with a 10' pole to clear it of the debris). Obtain a quick sketch of the arcane symbol. Cover it back up.
3. If there is enough daylight remaining to do so, Lanny favors spending 1 hour searching through the boxes in the storage rooms on the third floor, checking to see if any of the wizard's personal books or potions might be found there.
4. Leave the tower and return to the campsite for the night.

Thoughts?

Can we get votes on this plan, please.

Thordin the dwarf votes for #3. The first two he doesn't care for.

Saul agrees with 3 and 4, then 1 and and 2.

I don't know if we actually ever resolved the whole language spoken thing; since there is no entry for it on the linkable character sheets it would be great if y'all could add the languages your character speaks to the post itself.

Does anyone speak kobold?

Since we need to pay for languages like skills, I've added extra Meagnor languages in his skills list. He talks Kobold and Gnoll.

TK: Most of us already have a box labeled "Languages" under the Special Abilities tab on our linkable character sheets, which shows the languages our characters speak (although there were a couple of character sheets missing this information). Do you still prefer that we add this information to the main post, or is it ok to just leave it under the Special Abilities tab?

Oh no, forget about it then. I must have looked at the couple that were missing that and just assumed they were all like that.

TK, is there sufficient time for Drudsa to study ventriloquism on the 20 or on the 21?

Yeah, completely forgot about that stuff. Let me get on that tonight.
