“Okay, chummer,” Bullet says, dropping the banter as he gets down to serious business. “I can lay my hands on most a that stuff, but I ain’t got none of it laying around. I may have ta do some runnin’ ’round ta get it all t’gether. So, what’s yer absolute deadline? When do I gotta have it at yer door?”

“I can like as not get the squealer and jackstopper at one place 'n the biomonitor and the tranq patch at another, but the balaclavas is gonna mean hittin’ a third place. All the travelin’ eats up time. ’N I’ll see what I can come up with fer restraints, but I ain’t sure I can get those at the same places as any a the other stuff, so that’s gonna eat even more time. So, it’s gonna cost extra, neh? I can’t tell ya how much ’zactly ’til I see what them places charge and how far I gotta go.” He shrugs.

“’N remember, I can get ya the squealer, but yer gonna hafta pair it ta yer secretary on yer own." He winces first and then gives a toothy grin as he imagines Headstone trying to figure out how to do that. "They gotta be close tagether fer that first parin’. It only takes 'bout 2 minutes'r less, but I figure ya'd best plan on at least an hour.”

{Bone Biter}

Bone looks around and starts checking his gear. He hits the shower and swaps out his t-shirt for one with a prism, creating a rainbow.

He asks Headstone, "Is there Anything I can do? Snatch and grabs can go sideways, and I can try calling Skumsucker, but his vocabulary is limited. Good Troll to know, as he is a walking wall when needed."

Bone Biter looks to Pandora and asks her, " Anything you need? I know of a rental place down the block. Want me to pick anything up?"

Pandora, still jacked in with about an hour on her timer, does not respond.

Skye

When Bone Biter comes back out in his rainbow t-shirt, Skye looks up from the Furious Fowls game she's playing on her pocket secretary. "We aren't actually doing the extraction tonight. We don't even know who the target is yet," she comments. "Being prepared is great and all, but don't get too into the weeds with specifics until after the meeting." She shrugs. "Just my opinion."

"Oh, by the way," she continues. "Check that locker again in a few days. Your SIN stick will probably be there. G.H. said that would take a few days, for whatever reason."

{Headstone}

"Sounds wiz, chummer. I’ll swing by aroound sunrise to pick it all up. On another note, we’re playin a gig for close friends and trusted associates at our place in about two weeks. You should come by. I’ll shoot you the password once we open up. Could use some good company." Headstone offers, keeping it casual but sincere.

After ending the call, Headstone turns to Skye, filling her in on the plan he suggested earlier, making sure everyone’s up to speed.
Then shifts his attention to Bone Biter "I’m definitely gonna need you after the meet. I’ll need some muscle nearby when I make the move on the target. Can’t have that part go sideways, neh?"

“See ya at sunset, then,” Bullet says. He grins at the invitation. “Sounds frosty. Just let me know when. I’ll be sure ta clear my calendar.”

Then, right after Headstone says, ‘good company,’ Bullet snaps his fingers. “Ya know. There is one person that might have yer weird finger locks. Ya could try askin’ Candy over at the Tattletale in Redmond. I don’t know if she’d loan ’em out ’r keeps extra ’round fer sale ’r nothin’, but if anyone’s got some freaky cuffs 'r the like, it’s Candy.”

{Headstone}

"Candy? Sounds good, chummer. Thanks for the tip," Headstone says appreciating Bullet’s advice.
After hanging up, Headstone immediately dials Revs, running his usual security checks before saying anything over the line. "Got some quick biz to run by you. You got a minute, Revs?"
He waits for Revs to respond before explaining more.

Skye

When she hears where the meet will be, Skye snorts a laugh. "You mean that tittie bar? Sure, why not. Maybe he'll get distracted," she says with a big grin. A little more seriously she says, "It's in walking distance so that's good. When do we want to get there? Early, I assume?"

"Revs, good ta hear ya. Got a side errand for ya if you have time. Bullet tipped me off ‘bout a spot near you and BB, place called Tattletale in Redmond. There's a gal there named Candy. Real character, from what I hear. Anyway, she might have some funky gear I’m after for this run.
These are metallic finger traps, but not yer cheap fraggin' plastic toys. These are the real deal, more like Chinese finger traps but you cannot escape like those toy versions. Five of ‘em, one for each set of fingers. Bullet couldn’t wrap his head ‘round the German name ’Mädchenfänger’ but that's the actual name in case she doesn’t know what you mean.
Anyway, those things are far more efficient than regular cuffs, that some people might be trained for to escape. Good luck firing a gun at your captives without being able to use fingers. Think you or BB could drop in on Candy, see what she’s got? See if she is willing to loan them out, or sell them if need be? Be good to get our hands on ‘em quick. Our meeting is arranged at the Coment’s Tail at 3 am. My plan is to get our special guest into the hired van and into the plane as quick as possible directly after the meet." Headstone explains.

While Revs processes that, Headstone covers the phone mic and grins at Skye.
"Yeah, Comet's Tail at 3am. Paid the owner a lil' extra to keep it open for us. Closed doors, no distractions, well, ‘cept the ones we bring." He chuckles, giving Skye a wink before going back to Revs on the line.

Revs checks the time on his watch before responding.

"I'm not sure how long this is going to take. Options are a little light and we're chasing something down but we need to be a little circumspect in our approach. Send me the details and we'll see what we can do if we have time.

Headless of the phone call in progress, Skye arches an eyebrow. "Oh, are you planning on going topless yourself? That would certainly keep him off balance!" she says with a large grin.

"Why stop there? If it was that easy to bump up our pay, I’d go in the nude!" Headstone chuckles back at Skye. Switching to a more serious tone, he continues, "But before I end up losin' all my clothes, can you take over watchin' Pandora’s light thingie for me? I gotta head out ‘n grab some supplies in Redmond." He asks covering the secretary’s mic with the palm of his hand.
Returning to the phone call.
"Null sheen, chummer. I’ll hit up the Tattletale myself. You ‘n BB keep on with what you’re doin’. Just don’t forget, we’re meetin’ up at 3am, but Pandora’s back around 2. If ya can make it by 2, great. If not, I’ll see ya at the Comet’s Tail." he responds to Revs and waits to end the call to see if he has anything to add before he heads out.

{Revs}

"Be careful. If you hit any trouble we'll be at the Pretty Panzer, or message me and we can come to you. I'll let you know when when leave and how it goes."

{Headstone}

"Redmond ain't as rough as the rumors make it. Just folks tryin' to get by, ya know? My name should still carry some weight there if they haven’t already forgotten all about me from back in the day. But if anyone’s forgotten, I’ll jog their memory. You can be certain of that." Headstone smirks not worried about visiting Redmond. "But hey, I ain't too proud to call for backup if drek hits the fan. I’ll give you a buzz if things go sideways, so no worries there." he adds not wanting anyone stressing over it.

If Skye agrees to keep an eye on Pandora, he’ll hop on the Scorpion and speed towards the Tattletale.
Definitely pushing the throttle to make sure he’s back in time.

"Yeah, sure," Skye says with a sigh. "You know she always yells at me because she says I yank her out too soon. I keep telling her, just rig it so a red light comes on when you want to be yanked. But no, she has to have multiple flashing lights and different speed flashing and you need a fragging stopwatch and drek. Just make it idiot proof for idiots like me. Red light, yank. Simple."

Skye

While Skye keeps an eye on Pandora, she uses the time to pull up some maps of Houston on her pocket secretary. While she doesn't expect to be an expert in just a few minutes, she figures getting a general lay of the land can't hurt.

The maps show the roads arranged in roughly concentric circles, starting with 640, then Hwy 8/288, and then Hwy 99. Intersecting these loops are the major arteries – I45 roughly northwest to southeast (and dead-ending at the Seawall in Galveston), I-10 running east to west, I59 running mostly north to south, but then veering southwest. Hwy 8 breaks away from 288 to run southeast., and Hwy 145 runs north to southish, along the bay near Baycliff. There are some lesser highways, and then the rest becomes chaos. A note of the map apps remind drivers that Texas is not on the Traffic Grid. They feel that government control of driving interferes with their civil rights,

Skye

Skye downloads the map of the Houston area to her pocket secretary, then decides to do a little more research. First, she checks the weather forecast for Houston for the next week or two. As hot as it is in Seattle right now, she expects it will be even hotter in Texas. But that's not why she's checking. She wants to make sure the aren't any tropical storms or other inclement weather on the way that might throw a wrench into this fool's errand job.

After that and time permitting, Skye will dig around to see which megacorps have major presence in Houston. She assumes Lone Star for obvious reasons, but Lone Star is more than capable of running their own extraction. No, she wants to see if there's a corp in Houston that's run into some problems lately, like some kind of research or project that's having issues or is stalled and could use an expert in the field, one of whom just happens to live in the Seattle area...
