Hopefully it keeps me alive! I don't want to be close if I set off a trap!

Beya's first reaction is much like the Halfling's; she starts to nervously toss a throwing dagger from hand to hand while looking around for signs of an impending ambush....if it looks as if none is forthcoming; she'll go over and do what she can to help free and aid the poor woman...

The woman is badly injured, and thanks the party for the Help.
"My Name is Noelle of Harraspor, Me and a companion came here to look for stuff, much like you I am sure, and the jerk cut me with his sword and left me to die. His name is Robert De Vris, do not Trust him." If you have any healing, I will gladly fight by your side. Guess I will be known as Noelle Halfhand from now.." she laughs a bit showing her hand, missing two fingers from a sword or Ax Blow.
"There should be a lot of treasure here, the Goblin traders never had any rare Analuska stuff, and if the Orcs ransaked it, it would get in the hands of those green and grey skinned jerks. "
Husker checks the fountain, and you find a what looks like a button as the "Eye" of a dragon.

Husker the thief
"Ah-ha! This Dragon face here, the eye appears to be a push button, possibly activating some mechanism! It could be a trap...or it might just open a secret door to untold wealth! Not sure which..."
Husker will hold off pushing the button until the group decides it is a good idea...

Ceric addresses the woman before the rest of the group: "Lady Noelle, glad to see you doing as well as you are. You'll be safe with us now."
"Speaking of now, Husker, let's see what pressing that eye will do."

Husker the thief will try to push the button using the 10' pole at its full length (approx. 12' away). If this is not possible, he will stand to one side (the right side) and push the button using his dagger.

"Everyone, fall in line." Ceric orders. "We're going down."
Sword drawn and shield raised before him, Ceric begins to cautiously descend the spiral staircase, quickly testing each step as he moves.

The party goes down the stairs it is a long climb down, you would estimate 300 feet, It is narrow and cramp, at the landing is a small room and a archway. The Archway looks of Dwarven make due to the runes, if there was a door in the archway it has long since rotted away. and you see that it is a massive hall before you to the north. With Pillars at every 30 feet or so. You cannot see the ends of the hall. You hear sounds like that out of a tea-kettle in the distance. The hall itself is massive, with the top at at least 100 feet high.
(OOC, think of the pillar room in fellowship of the rings in Moria.)

Beya will offer Noelle one of her daggers and say; "Here; you might need this" while passing one her weapons to her. She will then take her place in the middle of the group as people line up to head down the stairs....

Ceric will peer into the hall, looking in both directions, to gauge how wide it is, and also attempt to get a sense of what each side presents in terms of cover.

Husker the thief will practice acting casual, moving from shadow to shadow in hopes of being "looked over" by anything watching the party.
