Fortress Interior 346D/81 (Evening)

Image

Round 9

Silvestri discharges another blaster bolt from his ancient weapon, striking the ceiling and missing the hostile construct. (Miss)

Urlando clubs down onto his foe (#2), smashing the artificial humanoid with a destructive blow! (10pt, dmg – Destroyed)

Podo pauses at the remaining floating bodies in the alcoves, a near-human mutant and a manimal with short, spotted tan fur. He carefully disconnects the clear tubes from the manimal using his spear. The mutilated body begins to convulse, and the alcove’s animated wall panel turns red and flashes! Clear fluid sprays out into the alcove, but Podo is at a safe distance to avoid the discharge.

Image

Denslow fumbles as he tries to swipe his svetlegk across the android’s torso simultaneous to Urlando's attack. He trips, but recovers before falling prone! (Miss #2; Makes Reflex Save vs. DC10)

Anton spikes his hammer into the neck of his opponent (#6), resulting in critical damage to the red-masked foe! (6pt. dmg)

Kurot tries to process why Needle wants them to leave. Assuming the human has knowledge beyond his own, the android moves to the exit hallway and chops the killing blows into Anton and Silvestri’s adversary! (8+7+CRIT dmg. – Destroyed)

Needle continues his Grapple with the pinned humanoid.

Saiph sees Podo enter the alcove corridor and prod one of the floating bodies with his spear.

Max looks for any type of machinery or controls on the walls that might offer a means to open the outer wall.

---

Needle’s rival (#5) grips and tosses the Uber Strain Human over its head and away from the combat area. (Wins Grapple)

The other cloaked assailant charges Needle and slams its fists into the prone human’s chest! (DMG 6)

OOC: End of Round 9

The air in frustration? I hadn’t read closely enough and thought #2 was still there.

Denslow makes his way down the hall towards what he hopes is the exit

Still strong enough to fight, Urlando will stand by the exit corridor waiting for the others to pass through, ready to hammer any metal humanoid that tries to block the way out. When Denslow, Anton, Silvestri and Kurot have entered the corridor, he will follow behind.

Anton attempts to void the mechanical fiends factory warranty!

With a little luck he is able!
(I'll spend 1 luck point at 2 for 1 = 17)

It's just a scratch!

Can i re-allocate one of those luck points to 1 more point of damage? No big deal if not.

Podo

"They are on their way, the battle with the red-robes was more intense then we anticipated. Saiph... Needle..." and just shakes his head.

OOC: Have all the suspended bodies been separated from their tubing?

Edit: Podo looks at the remaining companion of Urlando's, looking momentarily into his (hers, its) eyes for any sign of life, he uses the same procedure to separate the tubes from this one with his spear (cautiously, from distance to avoid being hit with the fluid).

After that is complete, I will use my movement to move to Saiph and Max.

A near-human companion of Needle remains.

Saiph saw the human retrieved and taken outside by the humanoids after it was disconnected from the tubes.

Fortress Interior 346D/81 (Evening)

Image

Round 10

Silvestri moves into the corridor at maximum speed, heading to the exit chamber.

Saiph calls out to Podo and sees the others enter the alcove corridor.

Max searches for any type of ancient energy interface to open the wall.

Denslow scuttles into the hallway, his roots rippling across the stone floor.

Urlando and Kurot remain at the entrance to the corridor and provide a rear-guard for their retreating comrades. As they enter the hall, they spot two more groups of humanoids marching towards their position!

Anton throws a hand dart at one of Needle’s assailants (#5) but the missile deflects off its shoulder. (Miss) The symiote moves past Needle and Kurot, into the exit passage.

Podo repeats the process of ending the other mutilated being’s misery and rips the hoses free. The plantient then moves towards Saiph’s location.

Image

Needle struggles to stand, attempting to pin the hostile construct (#4) to the ground. The android counters the human’s attempt and brings the offensive down. (Loses Grapple)

---

Needle’s attempt at grappling fails and the humanoid (#4) grabs him, bends his arms beyond their limits and smashes the human into a bloody corpse! (DMG 14 – Dead)

The other red-masked foe (#5)pursues the group into the corridor and runs straight into its android brethren and the twin-headed manimal! It hesitates and then strikes Urlando with a punch to his left head! (Random attack, DMG 7)

---

Kurot hacks at the hostile (#5), getting one good chop into its back and severely damaging the construct! (7 pt. dmg)

OOC: Urlando may make a delayed counterattack for Round 10.

Saiph calls out to Podo

"Then we must make sure his sacrifice is not in vain! Hurry, help me with the exit. You're a strong looking fellow, I may need your help making it larger"

I'm assuming that Podo will not reach Saiph this round, so he's going to hold off using his power to make the hole

Sorry, here is the hallway map.

Podo can make a double move (100ft) and reach Saiph this round. He may grant Luck but can't take a "wall busting" action after his double move.

Urlando, one head looking behind him, tries to manage a fighting retreat.
OOC: He will swing while continuing to back up toward the exit, assuming that is possible.

Kurot! he shouts. We gotta get outta here!

Urlando tries to beat down the pursuing assailant. (Round 11 attack)

Podo rushes to the wall where Saiph and Max are, careful to avoid the hole with the teeth inside. (double move)
