Welcome back Kris. I'd be happy to help out by buying some of your merch, I believe a UK men's 10 is US 11, but sadly I'm halfway between.
I do hope and trust that things will come back around for you & yours.
As we say in OD&D,
Fight On!

Happy to have the game restarting. Hope the troubles are over and the new season of challenges and epic roleplay and exploration can continue
Thanks for the bonus xp. Hope to level up once back in civilization, got close to being after-battle ghoul-nibbles a few times.
Every scar tells a story!

I've enjoyed reading this thread! Hope to see more here. Kris, you have a good sense of humor--the only way to get through the ups and downs.

Thank you mike808 for the comments and private message. I hope your read through of the Barrowmaze pdf you own does not give up too many spoilers.
Actually there have been two or three other GM's who ran various incarnations of a Barrowmaze game on the forum, so it has been widely played before and thus I did note a lot of changes to set encounters and in the 'open world' setting we run with rather than a linear dungeon crawl, there is lots to explore and do outside of the labyrinth itself.
After three years playing we have perhaps explored less than a quarter of the 1st level (no spoilers Mike, IYKYN), so any climatic 'endgame' with big bad bosses and underworld death gods are a little while off yet ...
... subject to current players actions of course and those currently oppressed, possessed or outright in damnable covenant with such evil entities do willingly/inadvertently/negligently herald such days forward.
The Barrowmaze (or rather the GM!) is going through a mini-reboot and consolidating a few expeditions in order to reset new plot lines, player ambitions and regroup after expected player withdrawal following my summer absence.
So get those 4d6's rolling once you are ready to join in.

and these little character traits are what makes the game so fun to roleplay.

That's also one reason the game is always recruiting: it needs a constant supply of
fresh meat genuine heroes to out-balance the corrupted ones, and fight the real baddies!
