There is, maybe, the flash of a heel at the corner to your right

You can hear the sound of people to the left. A head pops round the corner - sees you looking out and says - You OK?

And the security guy that was watching Assana earlier then appears from behind his colleague and starts down the corridor towards you.

Still leaning only her head out Nālani replies: Yes, thank-you, quite well. Some miscreants were causing a disturbance, fighting in the corridor. They went that way. She points with her left hand while her right holsters the Stunner. Stepping, unarmed, into the corridor she adds If you hurry you might catch them.

Nālani stands blocking the doorway and comments over her shoulder Perhaps one of you gentlemen could arrange a new meeting room? One with a working door. Or at least call a maintenance person to repair this one.

She is displaying calm unconcern to dissuade the security team from entering the room and discovering Assana, who they were surely in pursuit of.

Assana

As she gets up, helped by Arnwulf, she thanks him then turns to Noor...You're Raawiya, right. Saw your film. Very funny. Do you get shot at often? And where are your bodyguards?

"Hey, Pranit. Not so crazy now, am I?" She laughs nervously for an instant, then moves to follow him to the south wall, near the door.
While getting up and moving over towards Noor.

"I never doubted you, just a interesting day. You are alright it seems."

Pranit stands with her.

"What do you want to do?"

All

You can hear an alarm going off in the distance...Sounds like someone left the building via the fire-exit!

Puts his coffee mug down and claps his hands smiling. "Girls with guns. My I've almost got a hard on." he says as the threat dissipates beyond the exit.

"So you navy boys can come up from sheltering behind the ladies aprons now." he says with a smirk to those behind the table. He turns to the new entrants.

"Before we resume may we start by offering our most sincere condolences to you Ms En Sabah in the light of your recent tragedies. You are in safe hands now." he emphasised the last sentence before gesturing to Pranit.

"Your able legal representative was doing a fine job in your delayed absence. I believe the last votes were cast as cover took place.

Ms Carter, please will you holster your gun and proceed as the Chair."

He figures whoever attempted to shoot will have run off and hotel security and local enforcement may come along to take statements or such. Here for merchant business, he prefers not for any excuses the Navy could use to delay the ship's release.

Wondering what is going on and unlike most, not a follower of non-sports news.

"I will liase with hotel security to secure the room and check out the emergency doors for further trouble. Perhaps the young lady had better stay here with her Mom. I will arrange the hotel reserve adjoining rooms for you Ma'am and your aide."

He leaves to chastise the hotel security for their lax duty (leaving a Corporal Punishment business card with a note saying that he could improve things round here) and organises maintenance.

Are there any CCTV type recordings that he could review of the incident. He tries to press the hotel security for access with various reasons from " we need a description of the assasins", "police involvement could ruin your reputation", "follow where they have gone quickly".

Pranit will explain what has happened and that her votes were not cast yet and that 25 is required for a majority.

"Many have not voted."

Praint giver her the share information and leads her to his previous seat and sits besides her.

"Unless you prefer that I leave, we could meet later, if you wish."

The Navy Representatives

They look a bit surprised at the return to business. Anyone seen the insane tea party in "Carry-on up the Khyber"?

Errm...we have previously expressed our confidence in Indrani as an ex-officer of the Sparks Naval Force. We are authorised to cast our 12 votes for her.

We regret that a resident has already informed the police and they are probably already on their way. Then a double-take. Assassins? Your colleague said they were rowdys!

Tibbs assumed that even if Pranit cast for himself along with the Hebden lawyer and Ngora, total 20,
Indrani collects Revens votes and hers, the navy would side with her to go 28-20 in her favour.

If she accepts of course.

Noor

Noor tries to take in the chaos surrounding her. She nods at Pranit and Nālani. "Thank you both."

Turning her attention to the girl, she smiles. "Thank you as well. How did you know that was going to happen?" She raises her brow as she continues in a bit of gentle teasing. "Although, I wonder if you would have saved me if you knew that Raawiya is my sister. I'm Noor."

She listens carefully as Pranit outlines the meeting so far "Thank you Pranit. Of course, I would like you to stay."

"Now then. Since I can no longer deny my presence at this hotel, I would like to proceed with the meeting. And quickly." She looks at the suited men in the room. "You know who I am. I usually don't suffer nonsense, and now even more so." She softens her tone and encompasses the whole room. "You were in the middle of selecting a chair, is that right?"

Noor appears all business, but she glances at the door more often than expected.

Arnwulf

"Do you often get gun totting rowdies breaking up the place? Sirens blaring and blue lights flashing outside your door? Armed robbers surely targeting your guests can't help advertise your establishment glamorously.

What say I assist your security endeavours, identify the rowdy culprits and make sure they don't come back.

Fix the door. Stone throwing rowdies made an awful mess with the pebbles from the street. That's all. .... nothing to see here officer."

Tiberius

Chats in private with the Hebden lawyer, chinwagging over his previous purchase of shares from the estate as folk sit back down.

He pings a message to K-i-t-s-u-n-e.

"So when the meeting is over do you fancy a bit of 'Tiffin'?

R.R. Sabbana as agents for Hebden Cull

Indrani

Indrani holsters her pistol as she calmly walks back to her chair. She favors Tiberius with a tight smile as she sits. "A gun, Sir, is something that I do not possess, that being a privilege reserved for males. My firearm, or handgun, or weapon, if you will, is now safely holstered. My Marine drill instructor was quite clear on this terminology."

She takes a breath and looks at the attendees. "So, to business. We have, I believe, determined that the Queen of the Belt is available for a return to normal operations. From a legal perspective, is this correct?"

Nalani seconded Tiberius recommendation at the beginning so that is 14.

Ngora posted asking wether to vote the recommendation. I think Tiberius assumed that as a positive to make 15 and if the lawyer voted against their Cloud Bank rivals 16. If Pranit voted himself 20

Reven allotted all 6 to Indrani, Cloud Bank allocated their 3 and Archana all 6 and the navy 12.

If she accepts and votes herself it is 28.

I think that was why Tiberius called it early and conceded.

Naval Officers

That is correct. The Port Authority have been advised that you, Captain Indrani, now have Command.

I'd suggest that the ship be inspected by yourself before any further decisions are made regarding crew, finances, etc. I'd suggest that we adjourn for 48 hours while the release and inspection are effected.
