"Rick, I have wondered the same thing about if the attacks are coming from an internal source but it would either need to be someone new or something mutated," replies Daz. "I was going to focus my investigation efforts on what happened the few days preceding the first attack. Was there a breach of the facility? Did someone new join the staff? Did they bring in some specific cargo that might have contained the creature? It started recently so there must be an explanation."

Rick replies, "Maybe we should be doing blood tests of everyone at the station? We can see who be resisting wanting to take a blood test, if anyone."

"Good point," replies Daz. "T'Prin, did you find any residue or foreign matter that might identify the attacker?"

Didn't see anything out of the ordinary, other than the punctures and missing blood

T'prin, your examination of the bite marks shows no DNA or biological traces around the wounds.

As to the question of a breach or new people, the newest person has been here for 6 months and there have been no known breaches.

The doctor will go instruct the admin leader to make the announcement about working in pairs.

ask the security guy to show me the video of the moon pool both prior to and after the last body was found please.
Lets say 4 hours prior and 5 after. even if its invisible, if it comes in that way, maybe we will see water trails or the like.plus the video of the hallways outside the places where the bodies were found.

The security man replays the video as instructed, but there isn't a single disturbance in the pool. Everyone, please make an Intuition check for me. Lloyd, which questions did I miss?

T'prin Intuition roll [1d100] = 48

Okay, you were taken to each of the places where the 6 bodies were found and you have determined that each of the locations is within 3 meters of the air cycler vents.

"That's curious," Daz comments on the air vent proximity. She will ask the staff if they have the schematics for the facility that we can study.

Rick appraise the vents with a wary and critical eye wondering how big a creature could fit through them.

OOC: Are the vents large enough for a large human like Rick to fit into?

The submarine brings supplies every week which includes food, mail, any items ordered by personnel. The sub operator keeps his logs in the admin office. As for being infiltrated, there are cameras that monitor the only way in or out...the water access pool.

Daz, the specs on the air system show you that the air vents access every space in the facility. It starts at the top, where 'the gill' is located, then bleeds to each floor followed by each individual room.

"In light of this new information, it sounds like this creature could easily come and go from the pool.  Since it can't be spotted on cameras, we'll have no obvious record of it.  Perhaps we could scan the video around the time we suspect it would enter prior to an attack to see if there are any disturbances.  It's also possible that it came in and has been hiding inside the facility in the ventilation system."

"Any suggestions on how we want to prepare for it tonight?"

some sort of powder or liquid that it would have to move through and leave some sort of trail

Do the cameras have infra red technology on them?

The cameras are standard models only. Just FYI, the vents are about .5 meters wide....
