Re: Law of the Gun OOC
Charlie's was a 9 shot. Not sure what the carbine is. In real life the Winchester 1873 44-40 held 10 but I don't think the rules have a 10 shot. The trapper isn't listed in the rules at all but was probably the carbine with less shots. I am fine with whatever.
Re: Law of the Gun OOC
DT was poor when he bought that Spencer Carbine from Army surplus (6-shot carbine) $28jemmus wrote: ↑Sun Jun 08, 2025 12:36 am Updated Shepherd Gang loot list, after swaps by the PCs

Jemmus,
Since we’re keeping the two excellent horses as pack horses/spares, can we get the details on them? Breed, sex, etc.?

Re: Law of the Gun OOC
I don't have them written down. Just for Pict, my horse and the stats for the one I was lent in an earlier adventure.
Re: Law of the Gun OOC
If one of thise used to be mine that we got from the engagement with the horse thieves, we might want to sell that, it had a modified US Army Brand.
A Bar US i think.
Re: Law of the Gun OOC
Or offer it up to the Army office in Austin. Recovered stolen Army property. I'd take a hit on the loss of income to do the right thing.
Re: Law of the Gun OOC
So, we keep one excellent horse as a pack horse/remount; give the stolen Army horse to the Army; sell the 3 good and 1 fair horses? Everyone else ok with that?

I'm good with it.
Re: Law of the Gun OOC
I don't think I get a say, but it sounds like a good plan.

Rex's photo of Winchesters in the IC thread has been viewed 96 times. Win 1873 compare.jpg (13.4 KiB) Viewed 96 times I wonder how that happened?

Search engine spiders throw off View numbers drastically, compared to the past, as well as the Users Online statistic.

Or we have lost a people reading the story…lurking?
Re: Law of the Gun OOC
No idea. They often don't make much sense so I long ago stopped paying any attention to them. Same sort of thing happens in my Harn game.
