That would appear the logical thing to do while were here Bishop nods at Elcroon in agreement.
Scarecrow, open the door for us in case it is trapped he orders to his wooden effigy, while keeping his distance.

The three doors, at three sides of the quite large store room (the lift being on the fourth side) are pretty much indistinguishable wooden forms, probably produced by dwarfen crafters who specialized in doors. Each door has three hinges. On one of the doors, the middle hinge looks like brass instead of iron. Do you pick that one?

All three haven't been opened yet? I would start with the closest one and work my way up.

Delx stands back and watches as the man of sticks opens each door in turn. Steady, Black Dog, he says.

Hoping the doors unlocked, Elcroon was poised with arrow nocked, bow cocked, not expecting a cakewalk, but praying for rooms well-stocked with treasure.

oh mercy, even rhyming in the narrative text now :D

Each door seems to be locked. At least the stickman had trouble pulling them open.

I couldn’t resist, but if you insist, I will desist.

I must reverse the curse!

Elcroon, figuring if the doors were trapped the woodman would have set them off with its fiddling, thought brute force should be attempted before lock picking given they have no thief in the party.

Good woodman, can you break the door
So that we may continue to explore?”

Delx watches to see how the stick man fares with the nearest door. It will be noisy. As noisy as when I use this axe on it if I have to.

I can order it to use force, but I doubt he will get far with that spear attached to his arm.
If I have a corpse at my disposal, sure, we might have more success. As those tend to become more sturdy hosts for spirits to inhabit.
In the form of a wooden effigy, it might become more of a challenge. While without fear and forever loyal until I release its bond, it still lacks the strength and accuracy required to properly apply enough force. I guess it does have the capability to strike the door for hours on end, but maybe we have more efficient options at our disposal?
Bishop asks, being well aware of the wooden effigy's limitations.

Does Delx's Know skill help him understand the doors and their locks?
Picking locks is a skill I never tried to learn. And I suspect these dwarven locks might be quite cleverly designed indeed. Perhap you and I, Elcroon, could together try our strength in forcing them open? Or there is of course this axe fit for a dwarven king. I never favored axes. Horribly violent weapons. But here it may be useful against strong wood.
What to you think?
