006: Welcome to Yamaguchi Starport

The night is rough for the girls, and then you all go to the Ancients city once they are recovered. They walk the temple and get the history of the Ancients for themselves. Then Aster and Ciancia have the visions, and you sit with them as they thrash and finally recover. They were on the ship and they made their choices. You advice and guidance helped.

A check shows they have mental shields now and believe they have Ancients powers. They are like you now.

Ciencia takes you back to her quarters where everyone can take a shower and change into clothes you bought with you when you came to her ship to use the teleportal to the Ancients city. You'll have an excellent lunch and once you're ready, Ciencia will call Jessica Tiller and tell her that you are ready to continue the tour, if Administrator Antonov is feeling up to it.

The young woman informs you that they have been waiting for your call and will meet you at the owner's suite.

As the ships are parked in the bays used by the owners, you are back to the formal dining room before they arrive. Someone has cleaned up the blood and repaired the damage to the table and walls. It looks as if nothing had happened here.

The Imperial Guard are at the entrance and will announce the arrival of the two women. When they are brought in, Kira steps forward and drops to one knee. "Highness, I apologize for my weakness."

"You were in a terrible situation," Ciencia said, pulling the woman to her feet. "There is no need to apologize. We are sorry that we brought violence to your world. We're also glad to see you back on your feet. I was sick yesterday, or we would have come back sooner. We're all human."

She looked back at the group. "This is your starport, so I'll step back to be a tourist and see the amazing sights while you direct the show."

[Thumper]

Walt will protest Bona’s stay with Void. He offers his quarters. Assuming he loses the battle, he walks back to Bilis’ chamber and says:

”Alright Bili…Bianca. That was a solid first impression. Wow! You obviously do not disappoint! Let’s see the contents of Bon’s character next.”

Then he goes to quarters.

You need to make this decision because you feel it is right, not because of a moment of weakness." She glances down again and smiles. "Like I said, you've given me a lot to think about tonight. I hope I've done the same for you. Goodnight."

Assuming he loses the battle, he walks back to Bilis’ chamber and says:

"For clarity's sake, the fabricator version of me is Bilis. Bianca is in her quarters ravishing her husband. And, good luck maintaining your impartiality with Bona. You'll need it."

Bona visits the ruined city. The tour of the temple doesn't do anything for her. She has no vision of the Ancients history or the ship. It must be linked to being further on the path than she is.

She will drink in your weapons instruction. She seems to have a genuine delight for blowing things up and shooting them full of holes. She'll jump up and down and hoot her excitement with the big explosions.

Helping her with stance and weapons placement gets you into skin-to-skin contact with her and she seems to enjoy that, too, though she doesn't take advantage, other than pressing back against you a little. Is that temperature normal? She feels so hot, and the smell of her skin and hair does things to you. Wicked things. Now she'll have something else to think about as you pull away and see the effect she's once again had on you, and where it was pressing.

By the time everyone is done, Aster pigeonholes you. "Let me get this straight. You're making that poor girl sleep with the cat so you can avoid ravishing her? First, I don't know whether to applaud your superhuman willpower or call Garvin over right now to tear up your man card. Good God! If you don't take her to bed before long, I won't be able to restrain my lustful urges, and I'll lure her back to Garvin for us to share."

She fans her flushed face. "The clock is ticking, my friend. Tick tock. It no longer matters how long you can hold out. Now you have to worry about my willpower eroding."

As she walks off, you're not entirely sure she's joking.

Anyone who sees Walt with the unknown woman will be told by her that she is Bona Bilis, Bianca's sister. The two women are close enough in appearance to convince those who don't know the secret.

Depending on how far along the path of being an Ancient you have to be to feel it, the other newlyweds might not experience it yet. Especially since they weee sick. Except for Bianca and Lucius. They’ve been active for a week or so.

I’ve done plenty of stupid stuff, but doesn’t this smack of intentional mental incontinence?”

I'm more yer people person - 'elpin' folk's imaginations get carried away is my game. That, unarmed combat an' throwin' knives. If ever you want any 'elp with either or just 'ave questions about all of this feel free to ask. It's a lot to take in".

In a moment and as Bona goes on her way he says " 'Ullo Aster love. Is Walt lookin' funny at me or Bona? Might just be me imaginin' it. That or 'is eyesight's goin' from makin' 'er sleep in with the cats. None of my business but is 'e still doin' that? She is worth a look though... an' I reckon she might be able to bench press me...". He rallies with "I think our room's been... er... "spruced up" now. So, 'ow's yer "Ancient 'angover" treatin' you then?"

You do realize that, after gettin' yerself pointlessly dead, your stock as ship's "wise man" is quite low at the minute? While we're on, for me it's more of a worry that you took off on yer own mid expedition. Yer judgement was off. Glad we 'ad the conversation".

He appears to have said his piece but then sighs and adds "Urological - as in the "pissin' competition" you seem to be attempting with an advisor to the Crown Princess and Director of Omicron. If she's givin' you a steer it might be worth listenin' an' not arguin' . Judgement. Again".

Kira Antonov looked at the owners. “So, how would you like to start? A tour of what there is or an overview? Also, could I get names to go with faces? And is this all individual ownership or a company you own together? Merging Yamaguchi Starport and another business could be fun, but I’d imagine Her Highness will smooth any bumps in the road.”

“They have an Imperial Charter that will cover everything,” the Princess said. “I’ll provide the details on that later today.”

”Good to see you feeling better., Administer Antanov. I’m Walter Slaine, feel free to call me Walt.”

He’ll shake and make introduction of Bona. ”I for one vote for an overview tour then work our way to specifics, but I could be persuaded otherwise.”

He adds "Walt's plan sounds like the answer. Please give us an overview".
