Just realised I forgot about gear from backgrounds, so I think Thea should have some lock picks?

I need to find room for them.

Rex's Fighter still needs to choose a new Fighting Style, decide which one is the default style, and choose equipment.

Rex's Rogue needs to choose a new Trick/Technique and choose equipment.

You can group a single torch with your tinderbox as a single item, which should give Thea room in your pack for thieves tools (aka lockpicks).

Do you want to start the game "in media res", meaning right at the beginning of an adventure? Or do you want to start in town and look for adventure hooks?

Any preference on where to start, or ok to start in/near Fallcrest?

Remind me if you are natives of the Vale or recent/new arrivals?

I'm happy to start in town, to get the feel of things

I'm flexible with the starting point. If it would be easier to start in a smaller town I'm happy with that.
