"Lets dress him in his redone clothing, have him wake in a stateroom, can we fill his stomach and balance his waterbalance to make him satisfied and well rested? Anyway after a few minutes, we go in and see where he is on the spectrum. From there I can ask him some more questions, regarding his feelings about Treegarden or remind him about the bribing of a imperial officer and ask him to take a plea bargain? Could use some work. Ideas?"

Walt supports this…as long as he’s in the brig when they leave the ship.

The only staterooms are everyone’s quarters. Whose will you chose?ateno wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 12:45 pm "Lets dress him in his redone clothing, have him wake in a stateroom, can we fill his stomach and balance his waterbalance to make him satisfied and well rested? “We have no authority to offer a plea deal,” Roscoe said.
“I do, maybe, but I’m not inclined to offer it, Treegarden said. “Do your thing, but make no promises.”

Arkar will recruit Garvin to 'sanitize ' it before we place him in it.
“We have no authority to offer a plea deal,” Roscoe said.
“I do, maybe, but I’m not inclined to offer it, Treegarden said. “Do your thing, but make no promises.”
Will be presented a statement that shows he admits to bribing the Imperial officer, as if he agrees to this, he should avoid the death penalty.
"You have proven to me that your not involved in the attempt of murder on Treegarden, but your locality to the event could show complicity. Others might not believe you, but I do."
Sincerely "Please sign it to save your life."

You and Garvin’s behavior convinced him to write it all out and sign. Walt will pick up that he believes he will get it all thrown out in the end because of what you’ve been doing.ateno wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 3:39 pmterrymixon wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 2:56 pm Sincerely "Please sign it to save your life."

Garvin will agree "We maybe don't need to put in the effort for the whole nine yards. An confession to dishonesty and anti Imperial conduct might well be enough to stop 'im bein' a nuisance".terrymixon wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 2:56 pmThis is a tough sell. He has left Arkar a "prop" to lie under a dataslate or be casually placed out of reach but very visible on an otherwise empty surface.
This one example from a pair of brass knuckles has the addition of protruding steel "teeth". That the owner has left it in such an unhygienic state is not only worrisome in its own right but surely a health hazard to all aboard... The irregular dark staining/patina on the brass could be... and... oh... there's a torn piece of... something caught on one of the teeth"...
Nearby an apparently "unfiltered" Garvin bellows "Where's me uvver 'andspike? I need it for me next session..."
(OOC: I was a bit late on the send button but hopefully added an "effect DM".

I'm out in a "social whirl" tonight and Saturday so might be "patchy" - but still around).

Yeah, he’ll sign quick. Then beg to be locked back up in the brig.Tiglath wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2024 4:00 pmGarvin will agree "We maybe don't need to put in the effort for the whole nine yards. Arkar will lead him to the brig, talking nicely and saying he did the right thing.

And, barring any late comments from Eris, that will wrap this thread.
