The spybots going the other way show a room with an almost identical purpose, but it seems to have been ransacked.

Don't forget that now that you're inside an atmosphere, you can use the forensic tools, too.
Let me know when the desire becomes action. I believe that Jaelah is recording that room as well.Thumper wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2024 12:44 am Growler-
”So, why do you suppose one bedroom is fine and one ransacked? Seems out of place. An interrupted grave robbing? Maybe the disabled ship’s crew came here. But why only disturb part of the facility? Be on the alert when we go in there. I’d like to investigate that bounced room for evidence of why it’s disturbed.”
The sleep pods look serviceable, but nothing to write home about. They are big enough for humans or Vargr but could also house Dryone.Thumper wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2024 12:51 am Growler will proceed into the intact bedroom as soon as Jaelah completes recording. Taking a look at what the bedroom “should” look like might help decipher the bounced room.
”How about we DON’T open the door to the back of the machinery room until we’ve fully investigated all 3 before us now?”
He keeps his new advanced rifle at the ready upon entering.
He’ll do a security walk of the room first, then settle in for a thorough investigation…keeping either his rifle or new advanced pistol handy the whole time.

Sitting down activates a holographic projection of a couple of dozen symbols that now float over the table. None of them mean squat to you.
Touching a symbol produces a hologram of what looks like a bowl of gruel on the tabletop. Also, that symbol is glowing brighter and the others have dimmed.
Garvin calls over "Oi, you orderin' breakfast or targetin' some 'ole makin' weapon? If you can't answer that with absolute certainty 'ow about you stop pressin' buttons?"
It's a gruel bomb. And you can't blame Growler. In high school, he was voted most likely to press the button.
Odd, but seemingly accurate.
”Nah…I’m frequently told I’m a five-year-old. Just can’t resist. You want fried baked crickets with your oatmeal?” as he taps both the Holo-gruel and the highlighted symbol…expecting that tap to confirm his choice for the fabrication of a bowl of…whatever.
Touching the symbol again, causes the table beneath the hologram of the gruel to rise up like a metal bowl to cup the holographic food. The table also extrudes a spoon of the same metal. Touching the holographic food makes the hologram vanish, only to be replaced moments later by steaming gruel that appears from nowhere in the bowl. It seems to be real now.
No donuts. Just various food and drink selections, none of them all that exciting.
"Maybe you can find the ejection seat button," Jaelah quips while she circles the room, examining everything in it with her instruments built-in and handheld.terrymixon wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2024 2:21 amNo donuts. Just various food and drink selections, none of them all that exciting.
